Bright and Cheery Happy Easter Card

This Easter card is featuring the Love Bunny Stamp from Fun Stampers Journey.  As of this writing, both the stamp and matching die are on sale!!!  This is such a cute stamp and is perfect for your Easter Cards.  I have listed the directions and supply list below.

I love how the yellow makes this card so fresh and sunny looking.  Perfect for an Easter/Spring card.
I started with a Pineapple Smoothie base card.  I then cut this pretty yellow plaid paper from the  Good Life Prints paper pack to measure 5.25 x 4".  To add a little sparkle, I placed strips of  Lemon Sparkle washi tape between the plaid prints on the paper in horizontal rows.  I love the look it created and how perfectly it matched the yellow papers I chose.

I stamped the image onto Whip Cream cardstock using Black Licorice Ink and colored using my copic markers. (C0, C1, C3, C5, R81, R83, B00, B14, B16, E08, R08, YR16, G28, YG17, YG23)   He was so fun to color.  I love how he turned out.

I then cut two ovals using the Cottage Cutz stitched oval dies (which can be found on Amazon).  The larger one from Pineapple Smoothie and the smaller one from Whip Cream cardstocks.  I then used a  large dauber dowel  and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create the background on the white oval.  The grass was created using the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border die which was cut to fit inside the oval.  I adhered the white oval over the yellow oval and glued it to the right lower side of the card front.  I then die cut the rabbit using the matching die.  It was then popped up using foam squares and centered in the oval.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped using black licorice ink  on whip cream cardstock and cut using the matching die.  It was popped up with foam squares onto a small oval of pineapple smoothie using a die from my stash.  It was then placed in the upper left corner.  As a final touch, I added three yellow rainbow drops to the front of the card.

Using the same decorative plaid paper and placing the sparkle tape as I did on the card, I covered the flap on the envelope to make a matching set.  I love how the envelope coordinates with the card and makes for an even better presentation.  It really gives the set a finished look!

I hope you enjoyed this pretty Easter set and will give it a go for yourself!

He is Risen Easter Card

Today's card is a really pretty Easter card using the Easter Wishes stamp and die sets from Sunny Studio.     I have listed all the products used at the end of this post.

I LOVE the colors on this card.  I found some of this pretty purple striped paper in my stash and that is what I used for my color scheme.  I started out with a Whip Cream card base.  I then cut my pattern paper to 4 x 5.25" and adhered it to the front of the card so that there was a white frame around the paper.

The images were then stamped onto Whip Cream cardstock using the Easter Wishes stamp set  and black licorice ink .   The images were then colored using my copic markers.  Then they were die cut using the Easter Wishes Die Set  .

I wanted to frame the images so that they popped off the card.  I chose the spellbinders Elegant Ovals die set which I cut from the whip cream cardstock.  It really made for a pretty background against the striped paper.

I glued the oval to the center of the card.  I then used clear pigment ink and white embossing powder to emboss the sentiment on the banner.    The cross was then glued to the oval.  I popped up the tulips and placed them on either side of the base of the cross which added a little dimension.

I have decided to start making matching envelopes for all my cards.  I purchase envelopes with rectangular flaps which makes gluing the decorative papers much easier.  I then trim the paper to the size of the flap and it's done!

I think it really adds to the set and makes for a super presentation.  I hope you like this card and will give it a try.  This stamp set comes with a variety of sentiments to place on the banner, making it very versatile.  You will be seeing more from this set soon!
