You Brighten My Day Colorful Floral Spring Card

Today is my last reveal of the monthly clubs at Spellbinders.  This card was made with the DOM-Feb 24 called Rain Boot Bouquet.  I chose one boot, but you could also use two.  This is the card I created using this die:

I wanted a colorful, spring like look so I started with an A2 size card base and added a mat of blue cardstock.  To this I added another piece of blue plaid cardstock which matched the frame.  I then cut the boot and various flowers and greenery which was added to the boot and mounted onto a white oval cut with my Elegant ovals die.  I then took a sentiment from the GOM-FEB24 set and foiled it onto some white cardstock, cut it out, and popped it up with foam squares.  As a final embellishment, I added some white enamel dots and a small flower at the bottom of the boot.

I hope you enjoy this card!  This is probably one of my favorite sets from the 4 clubs that I featured!  This would also make a great Easter card.

Non Traditional Valentines Day Card

Today I am showing off a Valentines day card I made using the Stitching die of the Month for February 2023 called Stitched Floral Focal Card Front from Spellbinders.  I decided to make a non traditional card for possibly a friend, neighbor, or a non- lovey dovey card.

I decided to do this card in red and white for Valentines Day.  I started with a white A2 card base.  Then I cut the largest background section using red cardstock and stitched it using white thread and green threads for the leaves.  Next I popped up the second layer using foam squares and stitched it using red thread.  Finally the middle (last section) was also popped up using foam squares and white thread.  A red heart gem was added to the center.

I decided to leave off a sentiment so that this could be given to almost anyone.  I hope you enjoy this card and will give  it a try.  To find out about all of Spellbinders monthly clubs, simply click here.

Glimmer Hot Foil Plate of the Month Easter Card for February 2024

Today I am featuring an Easter card using this months Hot Foil Plate for this month called Daffodil Spray.  It is a beautiful image of three daffodils that can be either left plain or colored.  I decided to color my image using copic markers.  Here is my finished card:

To create this card I started with a green A2 card base to which  I added a piece of yellow and green plaid paper.  I then glimmered my image using the Daffodil Spray glimmer plate and sentiment and cut it down to fit as shown.  Both pieces were popped up using foam squares.    I colored my image using my copic markers and added some matching enamel dots to finish it off.

I think it makes for a very nice Easter card.  I hope you do too.  To view all the clubs available this month and how you can save money by combining clubs simply click here.

New Embossing Folder of the Month Club Thank You Card

Here it is a new month and this month I am sharing some of the monthly clubs from Spellbinders.  Today I am sharing the embossing folder of the month for February 2024 called Swirling Blooms.  To view all the clubs and options available, please click here.

For this card I started with a white A2 card base to which I added a piece of of lavender cardstock which was embossed with the folder of the month.  I then cut a piece of lavender plaid paper using the older fancy edge die set and cut a circle large enough  to encircle just the center of the embossed piece.  It was popped up using foam squares.  The sentiment was then stamped using a stamp set from my stash and some lavender ink.  It was then cut and popped up with foam squares.

I found a lavender gem to place in the middle of my embossed piece to add a little bling.

I hope you like this different thank you card.  It is a unique was to use an embossing folder to create a totally different look.
