Today I am featuring a card from Spellbinder's new House Mouse Release. I have chosen the candy hearts stamp which features an adorable house mouse along with many conversational candy hearts.
I started off by stamping the image onto white cardstock and coloring with copic markers. The image was then cut using the Essential Oval Dies. Then I tried to match cardstock colors to the candy heart colors and cut small strips from each. I arranged the strips in a woven design in the lower front left corner of the 5 x 7 card. I then popped up the image using foam squares. I added some flowers from the Petite Floral Potpourri set and added them to the lower left of the oval. Then I chose some matching enamel dots from my stash and added hem to the front of the oval and flower centers. The sentiment was stamped in black ink.
