Spellbinders New Release Stylish Ovals Collection

Today is the 10th of the month and that means that Spellbinders is releasing all it's new collections for April.  You should check them out!  There are so many adorable collections  to see.  Today I am showing off just one of the many new releases this month.  Mine are from the Stylish Oval Collection and I am sure you are going to want to add these products to your stash!

The first card that I created was the peach one.  I started out with an A2 base card to which I added a piece of the Stampendous background paper.  I then die cut a piece of Peach Sorbet Essential Cardstock with the Infinity Punch and Pierce plate.  I decided to use just the largest piece of this die cut so that the background paper would show thru.  I then cut out two of the smaller Essential Stylish Ovals, one from white cardstock and one from the peach colored cardstock.  I then stamped the sentiment from the fill my hearty sentiment stamp set onto white cardstock oval using clear pigment ink and then embossed with rose gold embossing powder.  It almost matched the peach paper perfectly.  Next I cut a large flower and two leaves from the Stylish Oval Hello You Floral die set..  The flower was cut from Velvet Rose essential cardstock, the center was cut from the Sunkissed Color Essential cardstock and the leaves from the sage color essential cardstock.  These are all new colors of cardstock for this month.

This was then arranged and placed on the lower left side of the ovals.  As a final touch, I added some peach enamel drops from my stash.

For the second card, I also started with an A2 card base.  I added a background piece of the Sage  Color Essential Cardstock that was embossed using the EOM-Feb 23 Hydrangea Blooms.  To this I added a white piece of cardstock that was die cut  using the Essential Stylish Ovals die and stamped with sentiment stamp set.  It was stamped twice onto the white cardstock and then the sentiment was stamped in between the two images using the Fill My Heart Sentiment stamp set.  The flowers were colored using my copic markers and then the white oval was placed over the embossed background.

I created this thank you card using the Stylish Ovals Thanks Glimmer Plate and gold and teal foil.  I started off again with an A2 card base to which I added some mirrored gold cardstock as a mat and them some teal cardstock as my backgound paper.  I then hot foiled the glimmer plate with gold foil onto white cardstock and colored the image with my copic markers.  I then foiled then foiled the sentiment with teal foil onto white cardstock and cut it out with the matching die.  It was popped up in the center of the card for some added dimension.

The final card is a very colorful one using yellows and pinks.  I stared with an A2 cardbase and cut a yellow oval from it  using the Essential Stylish Ovals.  I used the negative space and added some watercolored paper from my stash to the background.  The I cut out the Stylish Oval Hello You Florals from green, pink, and yellow, cardstock.  The flower edges were inked with pink ink and everything was glued to the card.  I popped up the open flowers using foam squares.  The sentiment was also from this set and I cut it out of black cardstock so that it would pop.  As a final touch, I added some  yellow enamel dots from my stash.

As usual I have listed all the products I used to create these cards below.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask it in the comment section below and I will be more than happy to answer them for you.

Spellbinders Clear Stamp and Die of the Month for April 2023

Today I am showing off a card that I made using the Spellbinder Clear Stamp and Die of the Month for April 2023 called Friendship Garden.  I decided to pair it with the Punch and Pierce Borders which is also a club kit for April and I showed it off yesterday.

I started this card by using an A2 card base to which I added a piece of lavender cardstock as the background.  I stamped and colored the image and colored it with copic markers.  It was then die cut  using the coordinating die.  I then cut out the Punched and Pierced borders from pink cardstock, and attached it and the stamped image as shown.  They were then wrapped with a thin purple ribbon and a multi-loop bow.  The sentiment weas then stamped and die cut from white cardstock and popped up onto the front of the card.

Feminine Birthday Card using Spellbinders Die of the Month for Apil 2023

Today I  am sharing a card made with Spellbinders Die  of the Month for April 2023 entitled Punch and Pierce Borders.   This is a beautiful  die and can be used for numerous occasions and backgrounds.   For this particular card, I decided to go with  a pink color  scheme and make it a birthday card.

To create this card, I started with an A2 white card base to which I added a dark pink piece of cardstock the same size as the front of the card. I then  cut out the Punch and Pierced Borders from a lighter pink colored cardstock  to use as the background.  This was then glued to the dark pink background so that the darker pink color showed thru the lighter pink piece.  Then a pink ribbon was  wrapped around the front of the card and I tied a bow with the same ribbon which was attached underneath the ribbon.  I then stamped, cut, and colored with copic markers the small floral image from the Stamp and Die  of the Month set and popped it up just  above the ribbon.  The sentiment was chosen from the Mini Everyday Sentiments glimmer set and glimmered with magenta foil.  It was then cut out and popped up across the ribbon area just under the flowers.  As a final touch I added some dark pink enamel dots to the centers  of some of the flower designs on the background.

I hope you like this card!  Being that pink is my favorite color, I do love it!  It was pretty quick and easy to make and I hope you will check out all of Spellbinders monthly club options by clicking here.  Be sure to check back tomorrow when I will have another club kit to share with you!

Spellbinders Glimmer of the month for April 2023 plus add on

Today I am featuring two cards made with the glimmer plate of the month and the stencil add on for April 2023 called the Glimmer Leaf Panel.  This is a great set and would add a wonderful background to any card for any occasion.

The first card I created used a lot  of shiny holographic papers to make for a very pretty, colorful, and shiny card.  I started out with an A2 card base to which I added a piece of holographic multicolor paper as a mat.  I then added some silver holographic paper which had firework, type images on it in various colors.  to that I added a piece of white cardstock which I glimmered using the glimmer leaf panel and rainbow confetti foil.  It created a beautiful multi-colored leaf patter which I mounted onto the silver paper.  For the sentiment I cut out a green section  of the holographic paper and glimmered a sentiment from the mini everyday sentiments plate and veridian green foil.  I used the matching die to cut it out and mounted it onto the green paper. then popped it up onto the bottom of the  card front  using foam squares.  Here is an image of the finished card:

For the  second card, I used the addon to this club which was a two part stencil,  I  started again with an A2 cardbase to which I added a green nat.  I then cut a piece of white cardstock slightly smaller and stenciled the leaves in two colors  of green.  I used this design as my background.  I then added some of my victorian garden foliage in two different colors of green cardstock. These were arranged on the front of the card along with a bow made of natural twine.  I then foiled the sentiment in black foil  and cut it out with the coordinating die.  This was from the Elegant Occasions glimmer set.  It was popped up with foam squares.  As a final  touch, I added some fashion gold embellishments.  Here is a photo of this finished card.

I hope you enjoyed these two examples from this wonderful club kit.  To check out all the fabulous club kits from this month, be sure to click here.

Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for April 23

Today I am featuring the Spellbinders Large die of the Month entitled Punch and Pierce Frame and Sentiments.  This die  set is so pretty and makes for a beautiful card.

To  start this card, I used an A2 card base to which I added some blue cardstock that was cut out using the Large Die of the month.  The center section was cut  from white cardstock and then embossed using the Embossing Folder of the month entitled Seamless Floral Background.  I  thought it made for an interesting background against the pierced blue background.

For the sentiment I cut the shadow from the same color blue cardstock and the letters from white cardstock.  They were glued together and then added to the center of the card.  For a final finishing touch, I added some blue enamel dots in the center of  each corner flower cutout.

I think this made a very striking Thank You Card.  I hope you agree.  You can see all the Spellbinders Monthly clubs by simply clicking here.

Spellbinders Stitching Die of the Month for April 2023

Today I am featuring the stitching die of the month for April 2023.  This particular die is called Stitched Fanfare.  I decided to do mine in blues so I chose three shades of blue cardstock and three shades of embroidery floss.  This makes the prettiest card!  You are going to love this die set!

I started  off with an A2 white base card to which I added a dark blue mat.  I then embossed the background medium blue cardstock using this months Embossing Folder of the Month for April 23 called the seamless floral background.  To this I layered the pieces of the die stitched with dark blue, white and medium blue cardstocks using the colors of floss shown.  These were then glued together and popped up using foam squares.  I then added the lightest blue for the center piece and cut the sentiment from the dark and medium blue cardstocks and glued them to the white background piece.  This was then popped up onto the front center of the card.  To add a little something extra, I decided to add two yellow flowers and some green leaves using the Petite Floral Potpourri die set.

I think this really made for a striking card!.  If you like stitching on your cards, you are going to love this months club kit! To check out all the kits, simply click here.  I have listed all the supplies I used below.  Please stop back tomorrow as I will be featuring another Spellbinders club of the month card creation or two.

Spellbinders 3D Embossing Folder of the Month for April 2023

The first club of the month that I am featuring this month is the 3d Embossing Folder called  3D Patchwork.  This is an awesome folder and can be used several different ways.  I decided to cut the center design out of my embossed piece and created two different cards with it.

The first card, started with a 5x7 white card base.  I embossed a piece of purple cardstock using the embossing folder and with a craft knife, I cut out the center of the design.  If formed a frame which allowed me to use the Clear Stamp of the Month for the center image.  I stamped it onto white cardstock and colored it with copic markers.  I then added the sentiment and sentiment frame using the same stamp set.

For the second card, I decided to use the center section that I cut out from the first card.  It was so pretty I didn't want to waste it.  I then added some white ink over the impression to enhance the piece even more.  I started with an A2 white card base and added a mat of purple designer paper.  To it I added a white piece cut with the Spellbinders Picot Petite Rectangles.  This framed my embossed piece perfectly.  I then popped up the embossed piece with foam squares.  I also used the sentiment from the Large Die of the Month for April 23 and adhered it to the center of the card front.  Then for some added bling, I placed rhinestones on each of the dots from the folder.

I hope you like these cards.  I love how they turned out and that the different club kits worked together so well.  Be sure to check back tomorrow when I feature another club kit for this month.
