Build - a - Flower Crocus Card

This month's Altenew Build-a-Flower stamp set features this lovely crocus set.  The build-a-flower is a monthly subscription.  You get a different flower every month. They are so easy to stamp and layer and make really beautiful cards.  (see all the products used below.)

I started this card using a white card base.  I then used the Sunny Studio Frilly Frames Polka Dot die also cut from white cardstock to create the white on white background.

The crocuses were then stamped in several different colors and die cut using the matching die.  That is another think I like about the build-a-flower monthly stamp sets  is that them come with the matching die.

I then cut the bow from the Create a Bow mini  die from a dark pink cardstock.  The flowers were arranged on the card and the bow placed at the bottom as if holding the flowers together.  I then placed a white sweet candy drop in the center of the bow.

I think it made for a very pretty card that can be used for almost any occasion.

Clean and Simple Pansies

I really like this pansy stamp set from Altenew.  It is a layering stamp.  I have been challenged by layering stamps in the past, however this one lines up beautifully and creates beautiful flowers and leaves.  All the products used are listed below.

I started out with a simple white card base.  Using the film capture die from Fun Stampers Journey, I cut it out using black cardstock.  Then, using the Altenew Pretty Pansy Stamp set, I stamped three different color pansies and three of the smaller leaves.  I stamped them using Altenew, mini ink cube sets (colors listed below),

One pansy and one leave were placed in each of the three filmstrip squares.  The sentiment was then stamped using black ink and a stamp from the Gina K Grand Garden stamp set.

This makes for a very simple yet colorful card. I love the simple white background with the pop of color from the pansies.

Classic Father's Day Card

Today I am featuring an easy to create father's day card.  When I first saw this stamp set, I immediately fell in love with it and had to purchase it.  All the supplies used are listed at the end of this post.

I really loved the look of the antique car.  It as simple, but elegant.  To give it a more masculine feel, I used browns and creams for this card.  You could, of course, use any color combo you like.  I started out by stamping the car onto buttercream cardstock using hazelnut blend ink.  I then die cut it out using my cottage cutz stitched oval frames die.  I used a hazelnut blend card base with an oatmeal cookie mat.  I placed the the oval towards the top of the card so that I could add the sentiment.  Using buttercream cardstock and hazelnut blend ink, I stamped the sentiment and then cut it out.  I matted it with a rectangle of hazelnut blend cardstock slightly larger than the buttercream piece.

And there you have it.  It is done!  Super easy and I think it made for a lovely card.  This set also has several other wonderful sentiments, which will make creating masculine cards so easy.
