Mixing Some Old and New on a Fall Card

I had originally glimmered the white piece for a different card and didn't use it..  But, I had kept it because I try not to be wasteful.  I came across it and it gave me the inspiration for this card.

I began this card by originally using my Glimmer Hot Foil System  to foil the center white piece using the Gilded Nested Rectangle Glimmer plate and Gold Foil.  It was  cut out using the matching Gilded Nested Rectangle Die Set.    As I mentioned before I had done this piece earlier and didn't use it so I kept it to be used at a later date.  Well, this was that later date.

Using an old, retired FSJ stamp set, I stamped the wreath with sentiment onto the upper center of the white cardstock piece using Versa Fine Claire Nocturne ink.  Then using a Y18 copic marker, I colored the berries a burnt orange color.

I then decided to cut  a 5.5 x 4.25 inch piece of dark brown cardstock and adhered it to a white cardstock  base.  Then I placed a piece a 4.00 x 5.25 inch piece of burnt orange cardstock centered and adhered to the brown cardstock.  Then the white cardstock, glimmered and stamped piece was centered in the middle and adhered.

I really liked the GOM-OCT21 Glimmering Woods Glimmer Kit of the Month and the copper foil that came with it.  So I foiled all the pieces onto white cardstock and colored them with various copic markers.  They were then cut out using the matching dies.  The sprig was also cut from the same dark brown and dark orange cardstock.  The pieces were then arranged and adhered in the lower left corner.

I then added some retired FSJ Sea Stones in the dark orange color which coordinated perfectly!  Here is the finished card.

I also used, Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine, Bearly Art Glue, Easy Glide Tape Runner,  the Journey Blooms Paper Trimmer and the  Quick Trimmer to create this card.
