3D Floral Best Wishes Card

I decided to go back to my roots.  When I first started making cards, I used a lot of 3D elements.  Then I started concentrating on making cards that can easily be mailed.  Well today I am going back and creating a beautiful 3D floral card.

I started out by using a white base card.  I then cut a piece of dark pink cardstock to 5.25 x 4 inches and adhered it to the base card using my Easy Glide Tape Runner.  Next, I took a piece of white cardstock and using my Glimmer Hot Foil System with my Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cutting machine, I foiled the design across the center using the Guilded Trimmings Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Bright Pink Foil.

This piece was then cut to 3.755 x 5 inches and adhered to the front of the card, centered  over the pink piece.

Next, I stamped the flowers onto light pink cardstock using the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Stamp and Festive Berries Distress Ink.  The pieces were then die cut using the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Die.  After being cut, they were then placed into the Classic Rose Mold and sprinkled with water, using the Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer and run thru my die cutting machine.

Once dry, I glued them together using my Bearly Art Glue and set aside.  The leaves were then created using the same method as for the roses, but using medium green cardstock and Mowed Lawn Distressed Ink.

Once dry and assembled the pieces were glued to the card along the left side in a pleasant arrangement.

The next step was to take another small piece of white cardstock and using the Yana's Sentiments Glimmer plate and more Bright Pink foil, I chose the Best Wishes from the set and foiled it onto the white cardstock.  It was then cut using the included die and glued to the lower right of the card front.

Finally I found some pink enamel drops in my stash and added them to the front of the card.   I think this made for a beautiful card.  Of course, you could switch up the colors and sentiments for a totally different card.
