Floral Glimmer Thank You Card

I mixed both 3-d florals and glimmer accents for this card today.  I hope you like it!

I started with a white base card.  I then took another sheet of white cardstock and added a gold glimmered border along the bottom of the piece of white cardstock and the words Thank You.  This was accomplished by using my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System, Gold Foil, and plates from the Glitter Kit of the Month for April of 2021 which is still available.  I also used some of the Best Ever Craft Tape  when foiling this piece to hold the plates in place.

Once this was applied, I then used the dies from the same kit and cut out the curved border using my Platinum 6 die cutting machine.  I wanted some color to show underneath the glimmered panel, so I placed some soft blue printed paper from my stash onto the bottom section of the card and adhered it to the base card using the Easy Glide Tape Runner.

Next, the glimmered panel was adhered to the top portion of the card leaving the blue showing underneath.  This was also done using the  Easy Glide Tape Runner.

Next I created several pastel flowers using various colors of cardstock, and the Spellbinders Petite Floral Potpourri die set. They were also created in different sizes.  I also cut several leafy branches from the same set it green cardstock and tinted the leaves using Distress Ink, Mowed Lawn.

They were then arranged onto the left side of the card as shown below.

The stamens used for these flowers were from Amazon.  The flowers and leaves were adhered with Bearly Art Liquid Glue.

Here is another photo of the finished card:

It shows more clearly the soft blue patterned paper and the shimmer from the hot foil.
