Roses Roses 2 Cards with Roses

I don't know if I mentioned it before or not, but I just love this layered rose stamp from Sunny Studio!  It is the easiest layering stamp I have ever used.  I get perfect roses every time.  Pair it with Altenew's ink cubes and you have a match made in heaven.  Today I created two cards using these items.  A supply list is listed at the end of this post.

I started with the card on the right.  I used a Rich Coral card base.  I then stamped several roses onto Whip Cream cardstock using the Everythings Rosy stamp set from Sunny Studio.  I used the Altenew Tea Party ink cube set and FSJ Pomegranate Splash inks for the roses and Altenew Green Fields ink cube set for the leaves.  After they were all stamped, I used the matching die set to cut them all out.

I also die cut the Spellbinders Venise Lace die out of Whip Cream Cardstock and used it as a background.  The roses and leaves were then arranged in the lower left side of the card and glued in place.  One rose was popped up with foam squares.

The sentiment was cut from both Whip Cream and Black Licorice cardstock using the Spellbinders Phrase Two die set.  They were glued offset to create a black shadow behind the white lettering.  Then glued to the front of the card.

The second card was created with a Whip Cream card base.  I then had some alcohol ink cardstock that I had created a background on using Pink Sherbet, Red Pepper and the gold fixative.  I used the outline die from the Venise Lace die to cut the scallop edge and attached the piece to the card base.

I had an extra rose and some extra leaves from the first card so I attached them to this panel and added a Whip Cream die cut sentiment using the Phrase Two die set.

These were two pretty quick and easy cards to create.  If you haven't tried the alcohol inks yet, give them a go.  They are really easy to use and fun to play with .  You tube has tons of videos showing the different ways they can be used.

I hope you enjoyed these two cards.  Let me know in the comments below.  Please share this blog with all your crafty friends.  I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
