Spellbinders Primrose Heart Facade Die Set - Day 2

As promised, this is day 2 of my three projects for the Primrose Heart Facade die set from Spellbinders.  I hope you are enjoying these cards and that you will find some inspiration from them to create your own!

Today's card is:

To begin this card I started with a piece of mirrored gold cardstock cut to 4.25 x 5.5" using my paper trimmer.  It was then adhered to the front of an A2 white card base using my easy glide tape runner.  Next I cut a piece of white cardstock using the Spellbinders Circular Stitch Background die using my platinum 6 machine.  It was then adhered on top of the mirrored gold cardstock using Bearly Art Liquid Glue so that the gold showed thru the holes.

Using my Glimmer Hot Foil system, I foiled a piece of white cardstock using gold foil and the Spellbinders Diamond Floral Frame Glimmer plate.  It created this lovely foiled diamond which was then cut out using the included die from the set.  I adhered it to the center front of the card using  Bearly Art Liquid Glue.

Next I chose to foil one of Yana's Sentiments onto white cardstock using Cobalt Blue Foil.  It was also cut out using the included die from the set.  I decided to pop this up using foam squares.

Finally I added some flowers and greens using the new Spellbinders Primrose Heart Facade Die set.  I cut several of the flowers using various colored cardstock and then applied ink to the centers.  The inks I used coordinated with the colored cardstock I used which included Faded Jeans Distress Ink, Picked Raspberry Distress Ink, and Fossilized Amber Distress Ink.

After inked, I lightly spritzed the flowers with water and began shaping them using the Sizzix paper sculpting kit.  I then added a yellow cardstock center to each flower.  The leaves where cut using green cardstock.  I then arranged the flowers and glued in place using liquid glue.

This is probably my favorite of the three projects I made.  I love how the gold cardstock shows thru the tiny holes in the background die.  I think the foiling makes this card look extra special.  I hope you do too!
