Playing with the Small die of the Month for December 2021

Today's card was created using the dies from the Small Die of the Month for Dec. 21 along with some other products..

I started out with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4 x 5.25 inches using my paper trimmer.  I then used the Spellbinders Polka Dot Strip Glimmer Foil Plate and Gold foil to glimmer the bottom portion of the cardstock using my Glimmer Hot Foil System.

Next I used a Darice Large Dot embossing folder from my stash to emboss the remaining portion of the cardstock piece.  I then cut out the two diamond dies from the Large Die of the Month for Dec 21 in both Mirrored Gold and Brushed Gold cardstock.  The two were glued together using Bearly Arts Glue and placed as a border between the glimmered and embossed sections.  The finished piece was then attached to a white base card base using Easy Glide Tape Runner.

I chose several colors of cardstock and cut out both the flowers and their outlines using my Platinum 6 die cutting machine.  The leaves were also cut out the same way, but twice.  Once from light green cardstock and once from dark green cardstock.  The dark green outlines were used and the light green insides were used.

The flowers were then arranged onto the front of the card, above the gold die cut piece and adhered using liquid glue.  The pink flower was attached using Foam Squares.

I choose a sentiment from the Spellbinders Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer plate and then foiled it onto white cardstock using gold foil.  It was then cut out using the included die.  Then I popped it up using foam squares.

The final touch for this card was a shiny gold ribbon from my stash which was tied in a bow and attached using Glue Dots.

I love to mix and match elements from several sets and this was definitely the case here.  I hope you like this card and will consider subscribing to the die of the month kit.  There is no obligation and you can only choose to purchase the ones you want!  Here is another look at the finished card.
