I Love You Valentine Card (Masculine)

Today I am showing off another Valentine's Day card which has what could be considered a slightly more  masculine appearance.

For this card I started with a white  A2  Card Base.  Then using the Spellbinders Wistful Window die set, I cut a piece of red cardstock for the background with my Platinum 6 machine and centered it top to bottom on the white card base.  It was adhered into place using Bearly art liquid glue.

Using the next smaller die and the same one used to cut the red piece, I cut out some white cardstock.  It was also adhered to the front of the card using liquid glue over top of the red piece.

Next I cut the center design from Brushed Gold cardstock and adhered it to the center of the white piece also using liquid glue.  The center oval was then die cut using white cardstock and stamped using the FSJ Doily Heart stamp set which is retired.  However, you could plate any sentiment you have in your stash that will fit into the center oval.

The small pink hearts were cut from the Spellbinders Be Mine die set  from pink cardstock.  They were then attached to each corner using the liquid glue.

I think this card has a more masculine look to it.  I think it would be perfect to give to the man in your life!
