Spellbinders Primrose Heart Facade Die Set - Day 1

 Today is the   first of three days of projects I created using the new Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feaken.  I will be featuring the Primrose Heart Facade die set from this collection.  Here is the project I created.

To start with, I used a white A2 base card.  I then cut out the Spellbinders Circular Stitch background die from white cardstock using my Platinum 6 die cutting machine.  I then embroidered just the circular sections using white embroidery thread and a needle.  Once that was completed I  cut out the flowers using the primrose heart facade  die from various colors of cardstock.  I then used distress ink in various colors to ink the centers of each flower.  The colors I used are Faded Jeans, Picked Raspberry, and Fossilized Amber.  The flowers were then lightly spritzed with water and shaped using the Sizzix Flower Shaping Kit.  Once dry, I then cut yellow centers from the die set and glued one in the center of each flower using Bearly art liquid glue.  The stems and leaves were cut from green cardstock and also adhered to the front of the card as shown below.  

Next, I added some white organza ribbon and a bow from my stash to the front of the card using easy glide tape for the back of the piece and a glue dot for the bow.  The Circular Stitched Background was then glued to the front of the base card.  

For the sentiment I chose this beautiful Thank You from the Spellbinders Elegant Occasions Sentiments.  It was done using my Glimmer Hot foil machine and some Gold Foil.  It was then cut using the matching die from the set.  It was the adhered to the front of the card using foam squares as shown below:

I love how the finished card turned out.  Here is another photo of it all done.
