Today I decided to create this fun and colorful Halloween card using two of the new Collections from Spellbinders, Open House Collection Open House Halloween collection and Happy Harvest Collection.
This card was started with a white base card. I then took a piece of light purple cardstock and using a ruler and fine line pen, I created the "siding" on the house. It was then inked around the edges with a purple colored ink using a foam dauber. It was then adhered to the card base.
Next I cut the door from dark purple cardstock using the Open House Door Base die. The windows were made using a light yellow cardstock. The door mat, bats, and house number were all created using the Open House Halloween die set.
Jack-o-lanterns and ghosts were made using the Open House BOO! die set. The Jack-o-lanterns were popped up using foam squares. Finally the dried corn husks were created using the Scare a Crow set and the bows were added from the Open House Topiary set.
All the sets used in this design are from Spellbinders newly released sets. Check them out if you get a chance, you won't be disappointed!
