Pretty and Simple Mother's Day Card.

I loved this stamped image from Fun Stampers Journey.  It is so pretty and easy to color.  It makes a striking addition to any card.   (All products used are listed below).

I chose the vase image from the Handpicked for You stamp set.  It was stamped onto Whip Cream cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I then colored the image  with my copic alcohol markers and die cut it out using the matching die.  The image was then set aside while I completed the remainder of the card.

I chose this awesome framed piece from the RSVP prints.  I love the corner images and how it frames the card front so perfectly.  I think the stamp companies should make some corner stamps for just this use.  What do you think?  Anyway, I chose the one I wanted and cut it out.  Then, I used a large picket fence blender brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to color the center of the panel.  I then splattered the same panel using Cool Pool, Bubble Gum, and Sparkle Silks.  I love how perfectly they matched the image colors I used.

I centered the image on the panel and popped it up using foam squares.  Once attached, I stamped the sentiment from the Silly Goose stamp set using Black Licorice Ink directly onto the panel.

I attached the panel to a base card of Cool Pool.  As a final touch, I added the pearls from the Cottage Pearls set.  I really love the clean, neat look of this card and the soft colors.  I hope you do too!
