New Technique for Coloring Fall Leaves

Here is a great Fall card using Spellbinders October Die of the month and Fun Stampers Journey Stamps, Inks and Papers;

Now that Spellbinders and Fun Stampers Journey (FSJ) have officially merged, I am pleased to announce that I am no longer bound to use only FSJ products.  This will allow me to create more designs, try out and review new products and better showcase my talents.

I have been a member of the Spellbinder small die of the month club since it's inception.  I have loved all the dies that I have received and am so happy to get to share them with you now.

I started this card by using  FSJ Tangerine Fusion as the base and added a FSJ Haystack piece measuring 4 x 5.25" and centered it onto the base.  I cut out the acorn from the Spellbinders October Die of the Month kit in both FSJ Hazelnut Blend and Oatmeal Cookie.

Using the FSJ Hello Fall stamp and die set, I stamped the three leaves shown, one using FSJ Summer Days ink, one using FSJ Tangerine Fusion ink, and one using FSJ Rich coral ink.  I die cut them out using the matching die set.

I wanted the leaves to be bolder and more vibrant so I decided to start coloring them with my copic markers.  I have a video below explaining how I created the colorful leaves with new technique.

I added some Lemon Sparkle tape across the bottom and three Spring Accent Dots for the final touch.
