Cross Stitched Christmas

The background paper on this particular card, gave it a cross-stitched look.  I used all FSJ/Spellbinder products which are all listed at the end of this post along with links to each products page.


I chose a non-traditional color scheme for this card.  I used a Rustic Rose card stock for the base card and matted this matching cross-stitched design paper from the Cozy Prints paper pack.  The sprigs were die cut using Fresh Sage paper, while the poinsettias were cut from Whip Cream and I inked the edges with Rustic Rose ink.  

I had some small brads in my stash that matched the paper perfectly.  I added them to the center of the flowers and finished them off with a Rustic Rose Ribbon bow.

The sentiment was stamped with Fresh Sage and die cut using the matching die.  I attached it to a piece of Rustic Rose and fussy cut to add a mat to the sentiment.  I think if made for a very old fashioned looking Christmas Card.  I hope you like it!
