Ho Ho Ho

Well my Santa Die D-Lites Etched die has finally arrived.  I have been waiting for what seems like forever, so as soon as I got it, I had to make something with it.  All the products used in this project are listed at the end of this post.  Just click on the product and you will be taken directly to the item's web page.

Using all Fun Stampers Journey papers, I created Santa first by using scraps of Candy Apple, Peaches and Cream, Black Licorice, and Whip Cream.  I assembled him and set aside.  The base of the card was also created with Whip Cream cardstock.  I used a piece of my favorite plaid from the Cozy Prints paper pack and created a mat for the front of the card.  I attached Santa to the left side.  Then using the Outline Bet Stamp set I stamped the HO in Limeade Splash, then in Summer Days, and the last one in Candy Apple Red.  I cut them out with the co-ordinating die set.

I attached them to the front of the card on the right side and then added small die cut snowflakes using the free die I received when I placed an order with Sunny Studios.  I love this little die.  It makes the prettiest snowflakes and such a nice small size.

I decided that the letters needed something so I used my Wink of Stella and Yellow Glitter, Red Glitter, and Green Glitter and brushed it on the coordinating colored letters.  This added just the right amount of sparkle.

I love how colorful this turned out and I can't get over how almost anything looks great with that plaid paper!
