Thinking of you

Today I am taking a break from Christmas Cards.  I found this beautiful Wild Roses Digital Stamp from Alex Siberia and decided to use it on today's card.

Once I purchased the file, I imported it into my Silhouette Cameo 3 softtware.  It was then sized and  printed out onto X-press it Blending Cardstock.  (This is my favorite paper for blending and coloring with Copic Markers).  I colored the image with copic markers.

I knew I wanted to foil the sentiment, so I needed to add some gold to the card.  I decided to go with a white base card and then cut a piece of brushed gold cardstock to 4 x 5.25 inches using my paper trimmer.  This was then centered and adhered to the base card using an Easy Glide Tape Runner.

The finished, colored, digital piece was then trimmed to 3.75 x 5 inches and centered onto the gold paper using the Easy Glide Tape Runner.

The sentiment was foiled using the Glimmer Hot Foil System and my Platinum 6 die cutting machine.  I used gold foil on white cardstock.  The coordinating die was used to cut it out. It was then popped up using Foam Squares and placed onto the front of the card. As a final embellishment, I added three gold pearls from my stash.

Here is another photo of the finished card:

The hardest part of this card was by far the coloring.  It was very time consuming, but for someone who loves to color as much as I do, it was no problem.  I think It turned out pretty and I hope you like it too.
