Spellbinders Glimmer Kit of the month for November 2021 (Day2)

Hello all my crafty friends!  Well today is November.2, and you know what that means, the new kits for November have all been released over at Spellbinders!  For the next couple days, I will be showing off cards that I have made using this wonderful Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month  entitled Curved Christmas Glimmer Borders.  There are also several other wonderful kits that you can choose from.  Value Clubs have several Value Club options available for those who would like to join multiple clubs at once

Here is the first of three cards I created using the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month .

I started this card using a white base card.  I then cut a piece of red and white striped glitter paper from my stash to measure 5.25 x 4 inches using my paper trimmer.  It was centered, and adhered to the base card using Bearly Art precision craft glue.  Next, using a piece of white cardstock and my Hot Foil Glimmer System and Silver Foil, I foiled the loop plate, the foliage plate and the Merry Christmas plate onto the cardstock as shown in the photo..  I then cut along the looped edge using the included die and my Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine.  The piece was then trimmed to fit over the striped paper leaving it partially showing from the bottom.  The foliage from the glimmer plate was then colored using copic markers.  The berries in the foliage design were each covered with a silver mix color essentials gems to add some interest to the foliage strip.

To add some more interest and color to this card, I decided to place a poinsettia in the upper right section above the curve.  I used red cardstock and the Poinsettia Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set along with red foil for the flower portion and green cardstock and green foil for the leaves.  The flower and leaves were die cut and then adhered to the card using Bearly Art precision craft glue.  Another silver six color essential gem was placed in the center of the poinsettia.

Although similar to yesterday's card, I believe it was different enough to share.  I hope you like it.  If you liked one better than the other, please let me know in the comments.
