Well here it is February 1st. You know what that means, Spellbinders is launching it's February Club Kits. For the next several days I will be showing off creations I have made using these new club kits. This month was spectacular! I had so much fun creating items for these clubs. Be sure to keep checking back each day this week as I will be featuring a different club each day.
Today I am featuring the DOM for Feb 23 called Mini Floral Tiles. When I saw this set, I immediately thought that the one tile resembled a flower petal. So with that in mind, I created this beautiful square birthday card.
I started out creating a 5.25" white square card base to which I added some purple paper as a mat and then some mirrored gold and printed paper for my background. Then using the Die of the Month for February I cut out several petal shapes using mirrored gold cardstock. I then added the purple and white flowers to the "petals" and glued them in place. the "petals" were then popped up in the center of the card. I added a purple ribbon and bow and foiled the sentiment with gold foil using the Everyday Sentiments II glimmer plate.
I hope you like this card as much as I do. I love how it turned out and the colors are beautiful!. Please check out all the club kits here. You won't be disappointed! And, as I mentioned, be sure to check back tomorrow when I will be featuring another wonderful project using a different club.
