This new die set is perfect for creating beautiful borders on your Christmas Cards. I have one card to show you in this post that features this die set. I really love how this card turned out. It really looks like a traditional Christmas Card. I started with an A2 base card and cut a piece of dark green cardstock to cover the front of the card. This was then cut along the bottom using one of the Winter Border Dies from this new collection. Then, I placed the uncut portion of the green paper into the Diamond Plaid Embossing Folder and embossed the top portion of the paper. I then used one of the thin dies from the Winter Borders Set which I cut from Brushed Gold Cardstock and cut out so that it would create a thin gold border between the cut and embossed sections. I also added a strip of brushed gold cardstock underneath the holly portion of the paper and glued it all to the front of the card.
To decorate the rest of the card I used the Cinch and Go Poinsettia dies and the Christmas Blooms Dies to create the floral accent on the front of the card. I had some red and yellow stamens in my stash which I added to the center of the poinsettias. As a final accent, I added three clusters of three each fashion gold embellishments.
The sentiment was hot foiled using the Holiday Sentiments 2 Glimmer plates and gold foil. It was cut out and popped up onto the front of the card.
