Spellbinders New Warm Wishes Camper Collection - Sweet and Savory Dies and Sentiments Sets

Today I am featuring two cards from the new Spellbinders collection entitled Warm Wishes Camper.  These two cards feature two products from this collection.  Be sure to stop back tomorrow as I will have an example of the third product from this collection.  As always all the products used are listed below at the end of this post.  Enoy!

When I saw this sentiment included with this collection, I just knew exactly what I wanted to make.  I started this card as usual, with an A2 card base.  It was then matted with some dark blue cardstock.  I had this colorful star printed paper which I thought was perfect for a birthday card, so I added it to the card front leaving a border of the dark blue around the out side.  I then cut out and created the hot dog using dies from the Sweet and Savory Die set from this collection.  To it I added three colorful balloons using the Color Block Balloon Dies.  The two  front balloons were popped up as was the hot dog.  I then chose the sentiment from the Sweet & Savory Sentiment Stamps that were also part of this collection.  I stamped them with black ink, cut them out, and mounted onto some dark blue cardstock.  This too was popped up with foam squares.  I Love this set!  The hot dog looks good enough to eat!

For the next card, I went with a pizzaria theme.  I started off with a white 5.5 inch square base card to which I added a mat of red cardstock and then a mat of red and white checked printed paper to look like an authentic Italian tablecloth.  Then I used the Fluted Classic Circles which  I used to cut out a piece of white cardstock to serve as a plate for my pizza.  Then I cut out seven pieces of pizza along with all the toppings to create my pizza pie.  The cheese was inked with Rusty Hinge Distress Ink and the crust was inked with Vintage Photo distressed ink to give both the toasted and cooked look.  This was accomplished using a foam dauber.  I then arranged the pizza onto the die cut circle as shown popping up the one slice with foam squares.  I then stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and cut it out.  It was then mounted on the red cardstock and popped up with foam squares.

I think this made for a very realistic looking pizza.  I Love how this turned out and I hope you do too!  Be sure to check back tomorrow for another wonderful die set from this collection!   I am sure you will love it too!
