New Easter card with Digi Stamp, Decorated Inside and Matching Envelope

Today I have another Easter card for you featuring this adorable image from DisDigistamps.  I just think this is the cutest image!  I colored it with my copic markers and even decorated the inside and made a matching envelope!

This image was so darn cute and fun to color.  I started out with an A2 white card base to which I added a pretty multi-colored speckled background paper. I then stamped my image onto paper and colored with my copic markers.  This was then cut out using the Kat Scrapiness Stiched dome dies and attached to the front of the card.  The sentiment was stamped in black ink directly onto the card front using black ink and the Honeybee Stamps Happy Easter  stamp set.

I decided to decorate the inside of this card too, so I added a strip of the decorative  paper to the bottom inside of the card and added a single egg from Photoplay's Hop to It stamp set.  Then for added coordination, I add the decorative paper to the envelope flap.  I love doing this when I have enough of the decorative paper to do so.  I really think it makes them look more professional and match better.  I don't use colored envelopes so this makes them coordinate better.  You could even add another egg to the back flap if you wanted.

I hope you enjoy this example and you will check out all of Di's Digital Stamps.  I have used them in the past and she has some really cute ones!  Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check back on the first of the month when I will be featuring all of Spellbinders kits of the Month for March!

Two new Digitally Stamped Easter Cards - Colored by me!

Well I have been busy making and coloring Easter cards.  Today I have two to share with you that feature digital stamps.  I LOVE working with digital stamps because you can make them any size you want and the only storage space used is your hard drive!.  Plus there  is the bonus of getting to color some of these digital stamps.  Some designers do offer already colored images for those that are color challenged.

This first card features an image from Amanda Jayne Designs.  I colored it using my copic markers and stamped the sentiment with my Spring Banner Script Stamps from Hello Bluebird.  Then I decided to color the border on the sign to match the Kat Scrappiness background paper from the Hop into Easter paper pad.  Finally the image was cut out and popped up onto a Gina Marie Petite Looped Lace die cut from white cardstock.  Once, all assembled, I added some jewels from my stash for an added touch.

The second card features an image from Conie Fong.  I colored it with my copic markers and cut it slightly smaller than the size of the card front.  I popped it up on a larger piece of decorative paper from the Hoppy Easter Paper pack and called  it done.

Both of these were pretty quick to make and super fun to color!  I am not affiliated in any way with either of the digital image designers other than I just love their designs.  Please check them out if you get a chance.  Their images are adorable!

Thanks for checking these out.  I hope you are inspired by these and will give them a try yourself!

Clean and Not so Simple Easter Card

Hello everyone and welcome back!  Today I am showing off a clean and not so simple (LOL) shaker Easter card using Kat Scrappiness Products.  When I first saw this Faberge Egg Die, I knew I had to make it a shaker card.  So today I did just that.

I started this card with a white A2 card base.  I then cut the Faberge Egg Die from a light purple cardstock.  I tried several different Easter papers for the background, but they just didn't work with the egg.  So I stuck to white.  This made the whole egg and flowers pop.

Then cam creating the shaker part.  The not so easy part (LOL).  I did not have am egg die that was the size I needed, so I ended up tracing the Faberge Egg (just the egg part) and drawing it onto a piece of white cardstock.  This would fit underneath the die cut.  I then cut out the egg using my Scan N Cut, but you could certainly use scissors, or an exacto knife and self-healing mat.  Once this was done, I placed a piece of acetate onto the back of the open egg cutout using double sided tape on the back of the white piece.  Then onn n  the front,   I  glued the Faberge Egg die cut so that the acetate showed thru.  Using very thin foam tape, I placed it around the back of the egg shape and the rest of the card front.  I fill ed the shaker with various Easter colored sequins and seed beads.  The card was then attached to the front of the card and will be popped up.  I then die cut the egg again in both a light and dark pink cardstock.  I used the negative pieces of the die cut to fill in the flower petals and centers.   The sentiment was stamped in black ink using the Hippity Hoppity Sentiments also from Kat Scrappiness.  It was stamped on to white paper with black ink and framed with the same color paper as the egg.

As a final touch, I added some purple enamel dots to finish off the card.  It is a little plainer than I usually make and as an afterthought, I could have embossed the background piece, but as they say hindsight is 20, 20.

Well I hope you like how this card turned out and will give making it a try.  It wasn't really as hard as I made out, really.  Just a little more time consuming, but it was worth it in the end. Check back often, as I will have many more new and exciting cards to show you!

Digital Stamp Colored Easter Card - Cute

If you know me at all, you know I love to color and this digital stamp from Conie Fong was no exception.  I created this adorable card using one of her Easter digital stamps and colored with my copic markers.

To create this card I started with a white A2 card base.  I then printed out the digital image onto X-press it Blending Cardstock which is the only paper I use for copic coloring.   The image was then colored and cut out using this rectangular die from Gina Marie Designs.  It was then mounted on a piece of teal cardstock from my stash.  The corners of the card base and the teal cardstock were both cut with a corner rounder punch also from my stash.

The sentiment was taken from the Pink and Main Easter Train Stamps.  It was stamped directly onto the card using black ink.  I have a complete list of products used below.  If you would like to know the individual colors of copic markers I used, please contact me and I will be happy to provide the list to you.

I have no affiliation with any of the products or companies used to create this card.  I hope you enjoy it and that it inspires you to create  one of your own!  Conie definitely has some of the cutest digital stamped images!  If you get a chance, you must check them out!

New - Happy Spring Bunny Card

Here  is another adorable Spring card featuring Kat Scrappiness   products.     To create this card, I have used the Embossed wavy edge frame dies, the Crafters Essential Easter Edition Dies, The Hippity Hoppity Sentiments stamp set and the Hippity Hoppity Easter Bunny stamp set.

I really enjoy doing scene cards and this was no exception.  I started out with a white A2 base card and added a light blue background using the Embossed wavy edge frame dies to use as the sky.  I then cut the ground and butterflies using the Crafters Essential Easter Edition Dies.  The ground was then attached at the bottom of the blue panel.  For the bunnies and flowers, I used the Hippity Hoppity Bunnies stamp set and colored them with my copic markers.  I then cut then out using my Brother Scan  n Cut, but it does come with coordinating dies.  These were then attached to the card front.  a couple were popped up using foam squares.  The flowers were scattered along the hillside and the butterflies were attached on either side of the sentiment which was stamped in black ink using the Hippity Hoppity Sentiments stamp set

I hope you like this cheerful, spring card.   Be sure to check out KatScrappiness.com  for all their adorable products!

Happy Easter Bunny Card

Here   is another adorable Easter Card  using products from Kat Scrappiness, To create this card, I used the A2 lattice Frame Die, the Happy Easter Bunny Stamp and the Hop into Easter Paper pack. I also colored the bunny with my copic markers.

This card was so much fun to make!  I started with a white A2 card base and added a piece of the Hop Into Easter Paper Pack in a striped design measured to fit the entire front of the card.  Over that, I placed the A2 Lattice Frame Die which was cut from white paper.  Before I attached it, I used my Misti and stamped the image in the center of the die cut using the Happy Easter Bunny Stamp.  I then colored the bunny parts with copic markers.

I then glued the  Frame die cut to the front of the card and added some gems from my collection and called it done!  I think It turned out so cute and colorful!  I hope you like it.

Beautiful Egg and Cross Easter Card

Today I am featuring a new Easter Card that I created.  This is the first Easter card I have made so far this year, but I am sure there will be many more coming.  I used products from Kat Scrappiness to create this beautiful card along with some products from my stash.

To create this card, I started with an A2 white card base and added a mat of a darker colored purple cardstock.  I then took a lighter shade of purple cardstock and cut it out using the Kat Scrappiness Nesting Deco Frames die.  It was then stamped and embossed with white embossing powder.  Both the sentiment and the embossing powder were from my stash.

The main focal point of the card is the beautiful egg and cross design.  This was cut from white cardstock using the Faberge Egg with Cross Die.  I glued it to the front of the card and using the darker colored purple, filled in the negative spaces of the flower petals and the centers of the flowers with a soft yellow.  I then cut out the cross from the darker purple and glued it atop the egg as shown.

I think that this makes for a very striking card.  I hope you like it.  If you are not fond of purple, you could certainly use any color combinations that you like.

Spellbinders New Release - Four Petal

This post features one of  the new releases  from Spellbinders entitled Four Petal Collection.  I am showing off two cards that I created with this new collection featuring a stamp, a die set, and a glimmer plate.  Be sure to check out their website for all the new collections released today!

For the first card, I decided to go with a Sympathy card and used both the stamps and the shape dies.  I embossed the stamp and sentiment with gold embossing powder onto white cardstock and colored the image using copic markers.  I then cut the white piece using the dies  and added a larger die cut piece in brushed cold behind it to frame the image.  Both were popped up onto blue cardstock which was then glued to an A2 card base.  Here is the finished card:

For the second card, I decided to try something a little different.  I went with a shape card.  I cut the base card from white cardstock using the largest die as the base.  I then used the next smaller size and cut a piece of light blue.  I cut another piece of white cardstock and stamped with just one of the stamps to create an overall background image.  This was then colored using muy copics.  Next I cut a smaller piece of the blue cardstock and used the glimmer plates to glimmer the sentiment with Cobalt foil.  I added a blue twine bow and some blue gems and called it done!

So there you have it!  Two examples of the new Four Petal Collection.  There are several new collections available and several more pieces available from this collection.  I am sure you are going to want to check them out!  You can do so  by clicking here.  I hope you enjoyed these two examples and will check out all the new releases.  I know you won't be disappointed!

Spellbinders Quick and Easy Card Kit of the Month PLUS Add On for Feb 2020

This is the last of the monthly club kits I will be sharing with you for this month.  I hope you have enjoyed seeing them all.  Today is the last club kit to be featured which is the  Quick and Easy Card Kit. entitled Spring Delight.  I have created six cards using the kit and one card using the add-on dies that coordinate with the kit.  Each kit comes with die cut shapes, paper, card bases and envelopes, embellishments and adhesives.  There is a total of at least 200+ pieces in each kit.  To see all  of Spellbinders monthly club kits, just click here

This photo contains the six cards that were created with the card kit.  Everything used to create each card was provided in the kit, except for liquid glue and common tools such as a paper trimmer.  Here are photos of each individual card that I created.

This next card was created using an oval die and the add on to the Quick and Easy Card Kit. I started with one of the A2 card bases and added a mat of dark blue.  I then chose a very soft pink color for the background.  I die cut the oval and placed my bunny, cup, and flowers on the oval which  was done in muted lavender and I made colorful pinwheel flowers to accompany the bunny in the cupThe sentiment also came from the card kit.

This is probably my favorite of the bunch.  What do you think?  Do  you have a favorite? Just let me know in the comments below.

Well, this is the last of the club kit blogs for this month.  I will be posting Spellbinders new releases on the 10th of this month, so be sure to check back to see what new goodies they will be offering.  And be sure to check back the first of next month to see all the new club kits for March from Spellbinders.

Spellbinders Clear Stamp and Die of the Month for Feb. 2023

This is such an adorable set and I am so pleased to be featuring it today.  It is the Clear Stamp and Die Club set for Feb. 2023 called Pocket Bunny  It is perfect for Easter cards and many more variations as I have created here.

These bunnies are so stinkin' cute and I got to color them with my copic markers which I love to do!.

For the first card I used a white A2 card base and added some light blue ink around where the image was going to go.  Then I stamped and colored the image and flowers and cut the bunny and pocket with the coordinating die and the flowers were cut with my scan n' cut but could easily be fussy cut.  Everything was then attached to the front of the card along with the extra flowers.  I popped up the middle flower with a foam square.  The sentiment was also from this set and was stamped in black ink.

For the second card, I again started with a white A2 card base and then added a mat of light orange card stock.  Then I chose some pretty yellow and embossed it using the Embossing Folder of the Month for this month.  The image  was stamped onto white paper and colored with copic markers.  This image didn't come with a die, so I chose to use a circle die to cut it out.  It was then glued to the front  of the card.  I stamped the sentiment again, from the set onto white paper with black ink and cut it out as shown.

I really love how both of these turned out.  They could easily be used as Easter cards, just change the sentiments.  There is also an image of a bunny in an egg and a Happy Easter sentiment.

Be sure to stop by tomorrow when I will be featuring the last club kit for this month!  The Quick and Easy Card Kit - You are not going to want to miss it! Tto see all the club kits Spellbinders has to offer, please click here.

Spellbinders Stitched Die of the month AND Embossing folder of the month for Feb-2023

Today I have two cards to share with you using both the Stitched die of the month and the Embossing Folder of the month for February 2023.  Both cards used the stitched die of the month while only one used the embossing folder of the month.

For the first card, I created a mini slimline,  I used the pocket and flowers from the stitched die of the month and added some metallic balloons cut out with  the color block balloons die.  The were arranged in the pocket and some of the flowers were popped up with foam squares.  I used the Happy Birthday sentiment that was included in the main set.

For the second card, I used the Embossing Folder of the Month for the background (hard to see in the photo) I then stitched the flowers and pockets and arranged on the front of the card.  For the sentiment I used the Add on and the Thanks a Bunch and added it to the front of the pocket.  Some of the flowers were popped up using foam squares.

I hope you like these cards.  This is one Stitched Die I really find very versatile.  The pocket and add-on sentiments could be used for many different occasions.  You can fill this pocket with critters, different flowers, etc. to create totally different affects.

Be sure to check back tomorrow when I will be featuring another fabulous club of the month from Spellbinders!  To check out all the clubs offered this month, just click here!

Spellbinders 3D Embossing Folder of the Month - Feb 2023

Today I am sharing this pretty birthday card created using the Spellbinders 3D Embossing folder of the month called Spring Burst.  It is so incredibly beautiful  and for this card I wanted it to stand out.

To create this card, I started with an A2 white card base.  I then embossed a piece of blue cardstock with the #d embossing folder.  I trimmed the blue cardstock to  4.0 x 5.25" so that it would have a white frame around the outside of the blue piece.  I then took a white inkpad and swiped it across the surface  of the embossed paper.  The ink adhered to the raised design on the paper which made for a stunning affect.  Once dry, I wrapped some blue ribbon from my stash around the card both vertically and horizontally and adhered to the back of the blue cardstock.  This was then adhered to the front of the card.

I tied a small ribbon bow and adhered it to the intersection of the two ribbon pieces using a glue dot.

The sentiment was foiled using cobalt foil onto white cardstock. It doesn't show up well in the photo, but the sentiment is also blue.  It was then cut out using the matching die and popped up onto the front of the card.  As a final touch, I added some small white pearls to the centers of the flowers.

I think this made for a very striking birthday card and really showed off the embossing folder.  What do you think?  Please let me know in the comments below.  To  check out all of Spellbinders monthly club kits, just click here.  Please be sure to check back tomorrow as I will have yet another club kit to feature.

Spellbinders Large Die of the Month - Spring Reflection

This die set is absolutely gorgeous and you are surely going to want it!  I have created this beautiful card using this new Large Die of the Month for Feb. 2023 called Spring Reflection.  I must say, that Spellbinders did an awesome job this month as I love all the club kits they offered!

I started out with a white A2 base card to which I added a soft pink and white striped decorative paper for the background.  To this I used one of the two filigree frames from the die set which I cut out in mirror gold.  This was then adhered to the background.  I cut the oval center piece from white cardstock and popped it up using foam squares.  I chose one of the two flowered images and cut two of it from more gold mirrored cardstock and then cut the blooms from several shades of pink cardstock some of which I inked the edges  of.  These were then placed onto the mirrored gold cardstock in there appropriate locals.  The sentiment was then chosen and cut from both gold caaaardstock and white cardstock an popped up with foam squares.    To finish off this card, I added some gold embellishments in the center of each of the small flowers.

This card turned out beautifully and looks even better in real life!  The picture doesn't do it justice!  I hope you like it and will consider ordering this club kit.  There is no obligation and you can skip any ones you don't want  or cancel completely whenever you want!  Just click here to learn all about the clubs that Spellbinders has to offer!

Be sure to check back tomorrow when I will be featuring another amazing club kit from Spellbinders.
