FAMILY - Together we have it all x2

Well folks, today is the last posting of my cards for the Spellbinders September Card Kit of the Month.   We are now done with the cards that  I have made using this wonderful Card Kit of the Month

The new kits  are still available  over at Spellbinders! .  To view all the contents of this kit just click here.  There are even more kits available with discounts when you subscribe to more than one.   Here is a link to check out how they work.

But don't worry!  I will have more new cards for you soon.  Since these both have the same sentiment I decided to make them one post.

I decided to post these two cards together since they used the same sentiment and theme. The sentiment is "family together we have it all.

The first card used a green  background paper from the paper pad along with a stripe of yellow also from the paper pad.  I then chose a soft yellow cardstock to place behind the chipboard frame.  I added to die cuts to the frame, then added two chipboard stickers to opposite corners.  I then added the sentiment underneath and spelled Family using the gold stickers.

Here is a close up:

The second card was done using the same background paper as the first card.  I then chose a pink chipboard frame and placed the three doll cutouts in the frame.  I then added a blue bow to the bottom of the frame, also from the cutouts and then added the same sentiment used in the first card, along the top of the frame.  Gold heart stickers were added as embellishments  I wanted this one to resemble a family portrait.  Here is a closer look:

Everything used on these two cards came from the kit.  The only non-kit item I used was liquid glue.I hope you have enjoyed all the samples and inspiration I have provided from this kit!.  If you missed any, just check out the list of posts to see them.  Remember this kit is still available over at Spellbinders!  I have shared the link above.  Be sure to check out all the clubs!  They are amazing!

Here is today's card

This card was started by using one of the white base cards.  I then cut a slightly smaller piece of the mirrored gold paper and then again from the paper in the paper pad.  I used the die cut car and camper, the framed sentiment the die cut sentiment and the shipboard flag.  Then I added the gold heart stickers as the final embellishments.

Here are some closer looks at the card:

Everything used to create this card was included in the kit except for liquid glue!  These kits are jam-packed with so many die cuts, stickers, etc. to make cards galore!.

Birthday Cards Times Two!

Hello all my crafty friends! The new kits of the month for September are now available  over at Spellbinders!  For the past few and next couple days, I will be showing off cards that I have made using this wonderful Card Kit of the Month.  To view all the contents of this kit just click here.  There are even more kits available with discounts when you subscribe to more than one.  Here is a link to check out how they work.

This is the 7th and 8th  cards made using this kit.  We all need birthday cards and these ones are perfect.

I am sorry for the crappy photos, but for some reason, my camera doesn't like these soft colors.

This is a perfect "from all of us" birthday card.  The background papers were chosen from the paper pack, The pieces at the bottom of the card and under the cake are both tags.  The flowers are all die cuts.  The cake, itself, along with the butterfly, gold heart, and the sentiment are all chip board stickers.  The green puffy sentiments and the pink and green hearts are puffy stickers.

This card is more birthday cake themed with the recipe cards and mixer which are both die cut pieces.  The cupcakes and the cake itself, along with the ribbon and sentiment were also die cuts.  I popped up the ribbon and cake using foam squares.  The present was a chipboard sticker..  I used pattered paper from the paper pack for the background and matted the sentiment with the pink paper enclosed in the kit.  Finally I added three of the gold hearts as embellishments.

ALL the items used on both cards were included in the kit.  It is jam packed full of goodies to help you create as many cards as you can think of.

Home is Where the Heart Is Card

Hello all my crafty friends! The new kits of the month for September are now available  over at Spellbinders!  For the next several days, I will be showing off cards that I have made using this wonderful Card Kit of the Month.  To view all the contents of this kit just click here.  There are even more kits available with discounts when you subscribe to more than one.  Here is a link to check out how they work.

This is the 6th card made using this kit.  We all love whatever we call home and that is what inspired this card.

I love how all the pretty greens went so well together.  I chose the background paper from the paper pack and then added a small strip of light green paper across the center.  I used the chipboard circle frame and added both a chipboard and sticker house along with lighter paper background.  I then chose the heard banner to place in the upper left corner and the word treasured to the bottom of the card.  Then for embellishments, I added three of the gold heart stickers.  Once again everything used to create this card was included in the kit.   It is so jam packed with goodies you can create endless cards!
