Well this month is no exception, the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month is another amazing die set!. When assembled, it creates a 3D vignette of a bubble gum machine. I have created three separate examples of how this die set can be used. For the details on all Spellbinders fabulous monthly club kits click here. For the first card, I completed the machine as was intended, as a 3D bubble gum machine. I chose the "1 in a Million" sentiment for this machine and trimmed it with both mirror gold and brushed gold.

For the second project, I decided to make a shaker card using just part of the die set. I started with a 5 x 7 inch card base and created the front of the gumball machine leaving out the gumballs. Instead, I added some shaker elements, and acetate front, and some foam tape and squares to pop up the machine on the front of the card. I used various shaker bits from my stash and added some pink gumballs to the mix. I trimmed the machine in both brushed gold and mirror gold as shown. I used the Be Bold Alphabet to cut out the "I AM" and I used the "Stuck On You" sentiment from the set for the front of the machine. To further decorate the cad I added some pink and white glitter washi tape with a piece of thin gold mirror cardstock in between.
For the third project, I decided to create a standing 3D shaker. This was a little more challenging, but I eventual figured it out. I simply added another to portion of the machine popped up with foam tape and filled with shaker bits. The acetate that fits on the front and the extended piece serve as the front and back of the shaker. In other words, I created the vignette as I normally would and added another front top piece onto the front filled with shaker bits. The machine was then trimmed with Mirror and Brushed Silver cardstocks and I selected the "I Chews You" sentiment for this project.
So I have shown you three different examples of how to use this fabulous die set! I am sure you can come up with many more. The vignette folds flat so that it can easily fit in an envelope for mailing.
These bring back many a childhood memory of always wanting a gumball from one of these machines.
