Today I am showing off another Birthday themed card using the Large die of the Month for May 2023 from Spellbinders entitled Balloons and Birthday Wishes. This makes a perfect quick and easy birthday card for either a male or female recipient.
For this card, I again started with a white A2 card base. I then added some dark green cardstock cut to the same size as the cardfront and glued it in place. I then added some pretty balloon printed paper I had in my stash as the background paper. This was glued on top of the green paper leaving a small border around the entire piece. I then cut the birthday banner from white and green cardstock, assembled it and attached it to the front of the card. As the final touch, I added two small pink flowers (one popped up with a foam square) to the bottom left of the banner and added some more green leaves.
This card was so quick and easy, anyone could do it. I really liked how the banner showed up on top of the balloon paper. I think this made for the perfect combination for this card. To see all of the Spellbinders monthly club kits, just click here.
