Today I am featuring 3 cards from Spellbinders newest release called Country Road Collection. This collection is awesome and is so versatile!. If you like doing cards with scenery, this is the collection for you! You can mix or match different sets for completely different looks. Here are three examples
For my first card, I started with a white A2 sized base card to which I added a piece of light blue cardstock of the same size to represent the sky. I then added some green cardstock for the ground by cuttin with the color block scenic scape die set. I used several different pieces from this collection to finish off the card. I even inked the edges of some pieces for added details. The black cat was popped up using foam squares and the clouds were cut from the May Die of the Month, The sentiment was cut from the Four petal lables and stamped using the Welcome Sign and Sentimets stamp and die set also from this collection with black ink and popped up in the corner.
For the second card, I also used an A2 white card base along with the 4 petal labels die to which I cut out the shape from some pretty printed papers that I had. In the center of the cutout I added some of the Welcome Sign and Sentiments to create a post sign reading Birthday Wishes which was stamped in black ink. U+I then surrounded the bottom of the sign post with colorful packages from the sesonal decor die set. Some were popped up using foam squares. The flowers were from the Garden builder die set . I used some mirror gold cardstock to highlight elements of the design to coordinate with the background papers. The same with the packages.
This third card was actually the first one I created using this collection. Again I started with an A2 card base to which I added a piece of white cardstock the same size as the card front. Using a cloud stencil, I inked up the sky background. I then cut the ground using green cardstock and a pair of detail scissors. The sign was created using the Welcome Sign and Sentiments set. The card was created using the country wheelbarrow die set and the pumpkins and leaves were added using the Seasonal Decor die set. I thought this made for a perfect fall card.
So there are three examples of the many things you can create with this collection! Your only limitation is your imagination. There are several new collections available! Be sure to check them all out here
