Stitched Color Wheel - Spellbinders Clear Stamp and Die of the Month

Today I am featuring this month's Spellbinders Clear Stamp and Die of the Month Kit for May of 2022.  It has a beautifully stitched color wheel along with tags for your favorite colors of floss.  All the products used are at the end of this post.  To learn about all of Spellbinders Monthly Clubs, just click here.

I started this card off with a white A2 card base.  I then added a piece of watercolored decorative paper for the background.  The color wheel was die cut from white cardstock and I used various colors of embroidery thread from my stash to sew in each color.  It was then adhered to the front top left of the card.

The thread holder was then cut also from white cardstock.  I decided to wrap some variegated brown thread around it and stamped the bottom with black ink.  I then added a number using a black ink pen.

The sentiment was also stamped with black ink and cut out using the matching die.  It was placed onto a piece of pink cardstock with a fishtail cut out of the side and then popped up onto the card using foam squares.

As a final touch, I added some colorful clear gems to the front from my stash.
