Today I am featuring two fun summery cards made using stamp sets from the New FSJ Happy Place collection which launches today. The first is a pool party invitation, and the other is a fun masculine themed camping card.
The "You're Invited" card features stamps from the Make A Splash stamp set. I created this fun shaker card to look like a swimming pool with people relaxing and playing in the pool. Shaker cards are always fun and this one truly is "inviting".
The second card uses one of my all time favorite Snap Shot Frames Dies to create a camping scene/ polaroid-looking photo. I created the scene using the Summer Build-a-Scene stamp set and Share Your Smile stamp set for the sentiment. The camping elements were colored with the Journey Color Burst pencils and then fussy cut using the retractable craft knife and glued in place to create the image. The moon was heat embossed and the stars were created with a splattering of Whip Cream Silk.
