Make a Wish Birthday Card with Spellbinders CSDOM-May23

Today I am sharing a colorful birthday card I made using Spellbinder's Clear stamp and Die of the Month for May 2023 called All About You Wishes.  This wonderful stamp set can be used several different ways  For my card I used just the top portion which was stamped in black ink and colored with my copic markers.

I started this card by using  an  A2 white card base.  I then added a piece of red cardstock that  was the same size as the card base.   I then added a piece of dark blue cardstock that was slightly smaller than the red.  It was glued to the front of the card.  Then I cut a piece of white and yellow cardstock each with the Fancy Edge Rectangles and added them to the front of the card.

The image was stamped onto white cardstock and colored with my copic markers.  I then cut it out using the matching die.  This was popped up onto the front of the card.  I stamped and colored the sentiments, two presents, and another cupcake and popped up each of these onto the card front.

I wanted a very fun, colorful card and I think I succeeded!  I used the paper colors to match the balloons.  The sentiments were also stamped onto white cardstock.

Be sure to check back tomorrow when I will have another fun monthly club kit from Spellbinders to share with you.  If you would like to view all of this month's kits, just click here.

Happy Birthday Shaker Card using Spellbinders Glimmer Kit of the Month and 3D Embossing Folder

Today I am sharing with you a really cute birthday card that is appropriate for either a male or female recipient.  I used the Glimmer kit of the month along with the 3D Embossing Folder of the month.  This card was fun and super easy to make using the glimmer kit of the month which came with both the die set and the sentiment glimmer plates.

I started this card with an A2 card base.  To it I added a piece of blue cardstock that was embossed using this month's 3D embossing folder, Balloons and Banners.  I  thought it would add some  interest to the inside of my shaker card.  I attached this to the card base and then using a piece  of  white cardstock, I foiled the greeting using Sky Bright foil and then cut out the balloon using the included dies.  I added some acetate for the shaker part and used the shaker bits from the Kit of the Month to the inside.  I was not pleased with the  plain  white background on the front of the card,  so I found some matching blue glittered   washi tape  and created a striped design on the front of the card.  As I final touch I found some  matching blue enamel dots that I added to the front of the card.  This and the tape finished off the front perfectly!

I love how this card turned out and how you can see the embossed image  through the acetate.

Please be sure to check back tomorrow when I will be featuring another club kit of the month from spellbinders  To see all the club kits for this month, simply click here.

You Lift Me Up DOMST-May 23 Stitched Balloon Card Front

Today I am featuring the Stitched Die of the Month for May called the Stitched Balloon Card Front die.  If you love the look of stitching on your cards, this is definitely one you will want to have in your collection!.  It features stitched balloons making it a perfect birthday or celebration card.  For  this  particular  card, I used the GLOM-May 23 add on to foil  the lettering  on the front.

I started this with an A-2 white card base.  I then cut a piece of light blue cardstock the same size as the card front and then used the DOMST-May23 to cut/emboss the front of the piece.  This was then glued to the front of the card base.  I then cut out several of the stitched balloons from different colored cardstock and stitched them with matching thread.  They were then glued or popped up onto the front of the card.  For the sentiment I used the GLOM-MAY23 Add On and Rainbow Confetti Foil which was cut out and popped up on the front  of the card.  I added the strings on the balloons with a fine line felt tip marker.

I hope  you like this card.  Be sure to stop back tomorrow when I will have another Spellbinders monthly club kit to show you!  You can check all the club kits out by simply clicking here.

Happy Birthday Flyby Greetings Spellbinder DOM-May23

Today is the first of May and that means that Spellbinders is releasing all of its monthly club kits!  Today I am showing you the DOM-May23 which is entitled Flyby Greetings.  This is an adorable die set that you don't want to miss out on!  This month is themed for celebrations and Birthdays and who doesn't always need birthday cards?  I know I do!  So here is my first card of the month:

I started this card off with an A2 white card base.  I added a slightly smaller piece of white cardstock that I stenciled with blue ink to make a cloudy sky look.  This was then centered on the front of the card.  I then constructed the plane from two shades of red, white and silver.  I then glued the plane so that it was flying in the clouds.   I added a "Happy Birthday" banner in gray and white cardstock  and glued it so that it was coming from the plane,  As a final touch, I added some blue enamel dots from my stash to the sky area,

This set also comes with a "You Did It" and a "Hip Hip Hooray" banner option, so it doesn't just have to be a birthday card.  I think you will totally love all  the club kits offered this month so be sure and check them all  out here.  Also, scroll down on that page and if you would like more than one kit, there are different bundles at reduced prices!

Be sure to check back tomorrow when I will have another Monthly Club Kit to share with you!
