Today I will be featuring the Die of the Month club kit for October 2024 from Spellbinders. It is called Festive friends and features a cute bear and a penguin along with a string of colorful lights. Here is the card I decided to create using this fabulous club kit.
To create this wonderful card, I started with an A2 card base which I oriented to the side so that it was a top fold card. Then I added a piece of colorful printed paper in green with snowflakes which was cut to 5.25 x 4.00 inches and attached to the front of the card centering it. I then decided to create a polar bear using white and light grey colors for my bear. I assembled him and have him a red scarf. He was then attached to the front of the card and the lights were wrapped around him. I cut the strings of lights using black cardstock and glued assorted colors of bulbs to the string. I decide to have the penguin swinging from the lights so I cut out and assembled him and glued him to the front also.
I sued an older glimmer set called Snow Garden Sentiments and foiled it using gold foil and my glimmer hot foil system. Then I glued it to the front of the card. It created a cute and fun Holiday card! I hope you will consider this club kit and create many Christmas cards to give to friends and family.
