Final Day - Club Kits for Sept 2024 - Cute Halloween Card

Today I am sharing the last of my samples for the Spellbinder's Monthly Club Kits.  This particular kit CLD - 24 Hoppy Halloween is an add on kit.  You will only get it if you subscribe or purchase the Deluxe Caboodle Kit!  It features a witchy frog and sentiment It  is really cute and will add a lot to any Halloween Card! 

This card was so simple to create, I simply started with an A2 card base to which I added a gold colored mat to go with the autumn colored striped printed paper I found in my stash.  I the added a vertical orange cardstock stripe and a gold square large enough to accommodate the frog. I cut out and assembled the frog.  Then popped him up using foam squares.  The sentiment was also from this kit and I added it in green along the bottom.

As a final embellishment, I added some sparkly gold gems to add to the colors of this card.  I hope you enjoyed what I shared with you this month.  Although it is not all  of the kits that Spellbinders has to offer.  To see them all simply click here.

Day 7 - Clean and Simple Card Using the 3d Folder of the Month - Pumpkin Patch

Today is day 7 of the new monthly kit clubs at spellbinders.  I am featuring the 3EOM-SEP24 entitled Pumpkin Patch to make this clean and simple card for a great fall thank you!  Be sure to check back tomorrow when I will be sharing my final club sample.  

This card was super easy to make.  I simply started with an A2 white card base. To it I added a slightly smaller piece of orange cardstock and used the 3d embossing folder to emboss the paper.  It was then added to the card leaving a small white border around each side.   I then used the Glimmer of the Month (GOM sept 24) to create the sentiment using gold foil.  This was then cut using the included die and attached to the center of the card.

That's it!  Easy Peasy! It made for a very simple card which I hope you enjoy.

Day 6 - Large Die of the Month for Sept. 2024 - Picture Perfect Autumn

 Today is day 6 of the new Spellbinder Monthly Club kits release.  This time I will be featuring the LDOM- Sept. 24 entitled Picture Perfect Autumn.  This die set comes complete with barn, tree, clouds, sun and more to create a picture perfect autumn scene!

To create this card I needed to start with a 5x7 base card to accommodate all the elements included in this die set.  I started by inking the sky with Tumbled Glass Distress ink.  Then I cut the lawn from two different colors of green and attached them to the card base.  Next, I cut all the other elements of this die set and assembled them.  They were then attached to the card as shown.  The sentiment was also added last which was also included in the kit.  There were sunflowers also included, however I did not use them for this example.

This kit is awesome and contains so many different elements.  You could use them all or only use some.  They also can be easily mixed and matched with other Spellbinder dies.   To see all of the club kits offered this Sept. just click here.

Day 5 - Monthly Club Kits -Embossing Folder of the Month

 Today I am sharing a card I made using the embossing folder of the month entitled Autumn Chevron.  This will create a beautiful background and would be suitable for any card.

To create this card, I started with a white A2 card base and added a mat of dark pink.  Again, pink is my favorite color and I thought it went well with the Rose Gold Foil.  I then embossed and added a background piece that was slightly smaller than the mat to create the background in a pretty pink color cardstock.  Then I glimmered the sentiment with rose gold foil and my hot glimmer machine.  For the sentiment, I used the GOM-24 - Friendly Thanks, to add the sentiment  The "Thanks" was glued down and the "all I can Say is" was popped up with foam squares.

Day 4 - Monthly Club Kits - Glimmer of the Month for Sept. 2024

 For the past few days and the next few days, I have/will be featuring different monthly club kits from Spellbinders.  Today I am featuring the Glimmer of the Month which is called Friendly Thanks and it is just that.  You will also receive a package of rose gold foil.

For this card, I decided to go in pinks since the foil was rose gold.  I started with an A2 white card base to which I added a mat of pretty pink printed paper for the background.  To this I glimmered the "Thanks" and cut it out with the matching die which also comes with the set.  The "For Having a Big Heart" was also included in the set and was glimmered with the rose gold foil.  It was then cut in a rectangular shape and popped up onto the card using foam squares.  As a final  finishing touch I added some pretty pink enamel dots to finish off the card.

Day three - Monthly Club Kits - Small Die of the Month for September 2024

 Today I will be sharing with you the small die of the month for Sept. 24 which is entitled Autumn Scarecrow.  This die set creates the cutest little scarecrow, plus extras to make a fun autumn scene.  Here is my example:

To create this card, I started with an A2 card base and added a mat of light blue for the sky and a dark green, hand cut, to create the ground.  I thin cut out the pieces of the scarecrow and assembled him.  I then added the crow.  To the bottom of the scarecrow I added some pumpkins in two shades of orange and the leaves, stems, and vines in two different shades of green.  These were all added to the bas eof the scarecrow and sign.  Then I added the sign which reads Hello Pumpkin to the left of the scarecrow behind one of the pumpkins.  Finally I added some sunny sunflowers along the bottom of the card also from the kit.

I think this made a really cute card and can be used and arranged in many different ways to create your autumn cards.  You can use just part of the set, or the whole set.  To see all this month's club kits from spellbinders, simply click here.

Day two -Monthly Club Kits- Stitching Die of the Month for 2024

 Today is day 2 of the new club kits from Spellbinders for September of 2024.  I will be featuring the Stitching Die of the Month entitled Stitched Snowflower today. It will create a beautiful card.   

This card turned out so beautiful!  I started with an A2 white cardbase to which I added some black cardstock which was cut slightly smaller than the card itself to create a framed look.  Next I cut some decorative striped paper in black and white which was cut slightly smaller than the black cardstock to add another framed look. 

The flower was cut from two shades of yellow cardstock, a darker shade for the background petals and a lighter shade for the front petals.  The centers were first cut with black cardstock and the top center was cut from dark brown.  All the pieces were hen stitched as shown using matching embroidery thread.  I also did the leaves and stem in green.  

As a final touch, I added some black enamel gems and the sentiment, also done in black and white from the same set.

September 1st - Clear Stamp and Die of the Month

Today I am starting to featuring the new Club Kits from Spellbinders.  The one I will feature today is the Clear stamp and Die of the month.  This month it has a beautiful fall stamp and die set.  Here is the example I chose to make:

  To create this card, I started with a white A2 card base to which I added a dark orange piece of cardstock slightly smaller than the card itself to create a white border.  The cardstock was embossed using the EOM -Sept 24 entitled Autumn Chevron.  The images were then stamped onto white cardstock and colored using my copic markers.  They were then cut out using the CDOM-SEPT Entitled Autumn Wishes.  The were then attached to the embossed piece as shown.  The sentiment was stamped also onto white cardstock using black ink from the same set and cut with the matching die also from the same set.  it was then popped up using foam squares and attached to the center of the card.  I also added two clusters of three gold gems to the card to give it a little bling.
