Fifth and final day of my club kits for Aug 2020

 Today is the fifth and final day of my club reveals.   Spellbinders has many more clubs to choose from, however I am showing off only five of them!  Today is the DOMST-Aug24 entitled, Stitched Colorful Palette.  

I wanted this to look like a watercolor palette, so I started with a 5x7 white card base.  To it I added the DOMST for August 2024 which is a stitched palette.  I used colors that you would find in a basic watercolor set.  These were each stitched with matching embroidery thread and attached to the left side of the light grey rectangle.  I then added the white rectangle to the right side of the palette and made a purple paint brush also stitched in matching colored thread.  This was then attached to the white rectangle on the right side of the palette.   I had some rainbow metallic paper from which I cut out the sentiment.  I used the DOM-AUG 24 entitled Colorful Expressions Sentiments.  They were the perfect addition to my watercolor palette.

Day Four - GOM-AUG24 Colorful Splash Club Kit of the Month

 Today is day four of the new Club Kit releases from Spellbinders.  This is a fun and super easy  card that can be used for either a feminine or masculine birthday card or any occasion actually.  Simply change the sentiment.  

If you like easy, colorful cards this one is perfect for you.  I started with an A2 white card base and to it I glimmered another piece of white cardstock using the GOM-AUG24 entitled Colorful Splash.  I also used the rainbow foil that came with this month's glimmer plate.  The piece was then cut slightly smaller that the card base and attached using foam squares.  The sentiment was foiled using black foil so that it would stand out.  It was cut out and popped up across the center of the card.

Day Three of Monthly Club Releases- 3eom- Floral Expressions Birthday Card

 Today I will be featuring the 3eom-Aug24 called Floral Expressions which is the 3d embossing folder.  It is a beautiful design and would look great on any card for any occasion.  This time I decided to color the design using my copic markers.  This is the result.  

This was a pretty easy card to make however the coloring took some time.  I started with an A@ card base which I turned to use it horizontally.  I then added a mat of dark pink card stock.  Then I embossed a piece of white card stock using the 3EOM-Aug24 entitled Floral Expressions,  Then I colored all the raised sections using my copic markers.  The piece was then cut to fit the front of the card.  I attached it and then popped up the sentiment using foam squares and the Splatter Sentiments Glimmer Plates and Gold Foil.  I think this mmakes for a very pretty birthday card.

Day two Release - Have a Wonderful Day Card

 Today is day 2 of Spellbinders monthly club release and I will be featuring the embossing folder of the month.  It is called Hand Drawn Lines and would make a great background for any occasion card! I paired it with some rainbow metallic paper from my stash to get this colorful look.

To create this card I started with a white A2 card base.  I added some rainbow metallic paper the same size as the base card.   Then I embossed a piece of white card stock with the embossing folder of the month.  I hen created two flowers from the layered anemone die set and attached them to the left of the card front.  Finally I used the die of the month to create the sentiment.  The background of the sentiment was created using just dark blue cardstock and the actual letters were cut from white cardstock.

For You on Your Birthday Card Clear Stamp and Die of the Month for August 2024

 Today is August 1st and that means that Spellbinders has released its new club kits for August 2024.  This week I will be showing my normal card kits along with 2 new kits that I will share.  Today is one of the new kits for me, the Clear Stamp of the month and the Clear Die of the month both entitled Colorful Blossoms.  

I really love this card. It turned out beautifully.  I started to create this card by choosing and A2 white card base.  I then stamped and colored the clear stamp onto X-press it paper and colored it using my copic markers.  I chose to make them appear to be cherry blossoms by coloring them pink.  I then used the matching die to cut out the image along with the sentiments which were stamped onto white paper and then cut out.  I created the background by blending some Distress Ink, Stained glass onto the front of the base card.  The image was then popped up onto the front over the inked area.  I then added the sentiment below the image.  As the final touch, I added some pink enamel drops from my stash.
