Spellbinders New Release - Winter Garden Collection - Letterbox

Well here we are with my second card from the new Spellbinders Release Entitled Winter Garden Collection.  This time I am featuring the new Letterbox die set.  I have listed all the supplies used at the end of this post.  Also please be sure to check back later this week as I feature more of the new releases.

I started this card by using an A2 card base.  I then added a snowy grey background paper.  I Then cut out the mailbox and inked the wood areas with Vintage Photo distress ink.  The snowbanks were the cut from white cardstock and the post was glued in between the two snowbanks.  The Mailbox was cut from brushed silver and using a craft knife, I slit the box along the left side to allow me to add my florals and  greens to look like they are coming out of the mailbox.  I cut, arranged them and glued them in place.  The flag was then attached using red cardstock.

I thought It needed something else so I added a festive mini bow cut from printed paper from my stash.  For the sentiment I used Silver Hot Foil and Glimmered it onto white cardstock  It was cut out and popped up on the front of the card.

I hope You are inspired by this card and the sets I have used.  I am still bandaged heavily on my right hand from surgery and will be until the 27th of this month.  So please forgive my typing.  I tried to find all the errors and correct them, but some may have passed through.

If  you click on SOME of the links in the blog or purchase from any of the vendors on the left side of each post,  please use my link (just click on the image for the store you want to use).  It will not affect your purchase in any way, but will provide me with a very small compensation for your order.  Some are affiliate links, some are not.  This is what helps me to be able to purchase new products to share with you!  Thank you!  It is very much appreciated.
