Day Five - 3 D Embossing Folder - Unique Technique

Today I am showing off a card that I made using the Spellbinders 3d Embossing  Folder for Nov.24 entitled Rosette Burst.  I did not add a sentiment to this card thinking it could be used as a notecard, or anything else you so desire.  You could add any sentiment you like or different color combinations to give it a different appearance!

To create this special card, I simply started with an A2 card base and then added a matte of black cardstock which measured 5.25 x 4 inches.  To this I added a piece of brushed gold cardstock which measured 5 x 3.75 inches.  Finally I embossed a piece of black cardstock using the Rosette Burst 3D Embossing Folder.  The piece was then cut to 3.50 x 4.75 inches.  I then spread clear pigment ink across the entire surface and added gold embossing powder.  It was then heated with a heat gun to set the powder.

It was then attached to the cardfront and I then added some black enamel drops to the centers of each of the Rosette Burst designs.  I hope you like the end result.  I purposely left the sentiment off of this one.  I think it makes for a different, striking card.  To see all the monthly club kits Spellbinders has to offer, simply click here.

Day Four- Three Monthly Club kits, one Card!

Today I am sharing a card that features three, yes you heard right, three Spellbinders monthly club kits on one card!  I started with the embossing folder, then the die of the month and lastly the clear stamp and die of the month.  I feel that it made for a cute, colorful birthday card!  I hope you agree.

I started to create this card, by using an A2 card base.  Then I added a piece of metallic rainbow paper to create a mat measuring 5.25x 4 inches.  To this I added a piece of white cardstock that I embossed using this months EOM-NOV 24 entitled Cascading Streamers.  This was ink blended using a rainbow of ink colors.  You can use any colors of ink you have on hand and any brands to complete this step.  I the cut the cardstock to measure 3.75 x 5 inches and attached it to the metallic paper to  create a festive background.  Then I used the DOM-NOV24 entitled Birthday Bliss and cut out three colorful balloons and randomly glued them to the front of the embossed piece.  Finally I stamped and cut out the sentiment using the Clear Stamp and die of the month entitled Confetti Wishes. This was stamped in black ink and fussy cut.  Then it was popped up using foam squares across the center of the card front.

I then considered this card done!  Would make a great card for either a feminine or masculine recipient!  To see all the monthly club kits Spellbinders has to offer, simply click here

Be sure to check back tomorrow when I will be showing off the last of this month's club kits.  I only receive some of the kits so you definitely want to check them all out!  Remember, you can only sign up for a club on the sixth of the month, so be sure to mark your calendars so you don't forget!

Day Three - Die of the Month Nov 2024 Birthday Bliss

Today I am sharing a cute birthday card created using Spellbinders DOM-NOV 24 called Birthday Bliss.  It features a cute turtle and some colorful balloons along with another cute birthday animal.

This card was so fun and easy to make!  I started with an A2 white card base to which I added some soft blue plaid paper as my mat.  Then using the Scallop Labels and Tag cutting die, I cut out a piece of lighter blue cardstock on which to place my scene.  This was attached to the mat as shown.  I then cut out the turtle, balloons, clouds,  and sentiment from the DOM club set and attached them  inside the label as shown.  I also cut out the party hat and attached it to the turtles head.

I hope you like this card.  It was so easy to make and you could use any color combinations you have.  To see all this month's fabulous club kits from Spellbinders, simply click here.

Day Two Glimmer Hot Foil Plate of the Month for November 2024

Today I am sharing a card I made using Spellbinder's GOM-NOV24 and coordinating foil.  The Glimmer of the Month is called Confetti Burst and the foil that comes with it is called Rainbow confetti.   Both make a super pretty Birthday Card.

To create this sparkly birthday card I started with an A2 white base card.  To this I added a piece of rainbow foil paper measuring 5.25 x 4 inches.  I then foiled the confetti burst plate using the rainbow confetti foil which was included onto white cardstock.  This was cut to 3.25 x 4.75 and attached it centered over the rainbow metallic paper.  The sentiment was then glimmered using black foil, cut out with included dies, and placed onto some scraps of rainbow metallic paper which was popped up to add some dimension.

A very pretty and colorful birthday card that would be greatly appreciated by any recipient!  If you would like to see all the monthly clubs that spellbinders offers, just click here. Please note that new subscriptions are only accepted on or after Nov. 6.

Day One New Release Stitching Die of the Month - November 2024

Hello crafty friends!   I hope you all had a spook-tacular Halloween.  Now that that is over, you know what that means...  It is the first of November and Spellbinders is releasing it's club kits for the month!  In the next few days I will be featuring some of these new clubs.  I have combined some of the clubs in order to utilize the ones I have been given.  Be sure to mark your calendars because November 6th is the first day new subscribers can subscribe to a club they want to get.

Today I will be showing off the stitching die of the month entitled Cross Stitched Nested Card Front and Tab.  If you love the look of stitching on a card this club is definitely for you!

I started with an A2 white card base to which I added each of the card front layers in colors of blue, green, and yellow.  They were cross stitched in matching embroidery thread.  Each stitched layer was popped up with foam squares.  The final piece I added was the tag.  It was cut from yellow cardstock and embroidered with green and blue thread.  I also added a blue twine bow to the tag.  The sentiment was stamped and cut from the Clear Stamp and die of the month called - Confetti Wishes.  It was then popped up in the center of the tag.  To finish it off  I was able to add enamel dots in the three matching colors.

I hope you like the finished result!  To see all of Spellbinders monthly club kits, simply click here

Last Reveal for Me - EOM -OCT 24 -Embossing Folder - Checkered Argyle

Today is the final day of Spellbinders monthly club reveals for me.  But there are more clubs  available!  This last club is the Embossing Folder of the Month for Oct. of 2024 entitled Checkered Argyle.  I decided to make a masculine thank you card for this particular reveal.  You could use any colors you want to make it a more feminine card.

To create this card, I started with a cream colored A2 Card base.  I then added a tan color embossed mat measuring 5.25 x 4 inches and added that to the center of the card front.  Then I cut a rectangle of dark brown cardstock and then a smaller rectangle of a lighter corregated cardstock for some texture.  The sentiment was foiled using Espresso Bean Foil and was foiled and cut from last months glimmer of the month called Friendly Thanks.

As a final embellishment, I added some natural twine and tied it in a bow.  That is it.  A Clean and Simple Thank You card for any man in your life.  To see all of the club kits Spellbinders has to offer, simply click here .

Day Seven, but 6th club kit reveal = STDOM -OCT 24 Bright and Merry Cloche

I decided to take yesterday off and didn't do a club reveal, so today I am actually sharing the 5th reveal which will be the STDOM-Oct 24 from Spellbinders entitled Merry and Bright Cloche.  A really pretty set which is super easy to stitch and create a card.

I started this card with an A2 cardbase.  I then added a mat of holographic red paper for some pizazz.  This was cut to 5.25 x 4 inches and centered on the front of the card.  The cloche was first cut from white, then blue cardstock to give the appearance of snow.  The tree was cut from green and stitched with green embroidery thread.   It was then glued to a yellow star and a dark orange pot.  It was then attached to the base from which the sentiment was cut.  I the added the scalloped base with white cardstock and stitched it with white thread.  All was then assembled and glued to the center of the red holographic paper.

A super easy stitched Christmas card that makes up quickly and will add a great statement to any Christmas card.  To see all the club kits Spellbinders offers, simply click here.

Day Five - Monthly Club Kit Oct 24 - 3D Embossing folder

Here is a super great 3D embossing folder for Christmas from Spellbinders.  It is the 3DEOM-OCT 24 entitled Joyful Candy Canes and features beautiful candy canes poinsettias, holly sprigs and more all in a 3D format.  Here is the card I made using this folder:

To create this card, I started with an A2 card base.  I then embossed a piece of green cardstock to which I cut to measure 5.25 x 4 inches and added it to the center front of the base card.   I also used the Large Die of the Month for Oct. 24 entitled Cozy Toe Slippers and used just the three Christmas/Winter themed slipper heads to add to the front of the card.  Santa was glued and the reindeer and penguin were popped up using foam squares.

Finally I added the sentiment using the Classic Happy Holidays die set using red cardstock.  I think this made a cute and festive holiday card.  To see all the club kits that spellbinders has this month simply click here.

All clubs and subscriptions will be available to purchase or subscribe on October 6th.  Please be sure to stop back tomorrow when I will have another great club kit to share with you!

Day Four- Monthly Club Kit Die of the Month - Festive Friends

Today I will be featuring the Die of the Month club kit for October 2024 from Spellbinders.  It is called Festive friends and features a cute bear and a penguin along with a string of colorful lights.  Here is the card I decided to create using this fabulous club kit.

To create this wonderful card, I started with an A2 card base which I oriented to the side so that it was a top fold card.  Then I added a piece of colorful printed paper in green with snowflakes which was cut to 5.25 x 4.00 inches and attached to the front of the card centering it.  I then decided to create a polar bear using white and light grey colors for my bear.  I assembled him and have him a red scarf.  He was then attached to the front of the card and the lights were wrapped around him.  I cut the strings of lights using black cardstock and glued assorted colors of bulbs to the string.  I decide to have the penguin swinging from the lights so I cut out and assembled him and glued him to the front also.

I sued an older glimmer set called Snow Garden Sentiments and foiled it using gold foil and my glimmer hot foil system.  Then I glued it to the front of the card.  It created a cute and fun Holiday card!  I hope you will consider this club kit and create many Christmas cards to give to friends and family.  The kit will be ready to subscribe, purchase on October 6th so be sure to mark your calendars.  Be sure to check back tomorrow as I will be adding another great club kit from Spellbinders.  To see all of the clubs available this month, simply click here

Day Three - Monthly Club Kits Cozy Toes Slippers

Today is the third day of Spellbinders new monthly club kit releases for October 2024.  Today I am  showing off the Large Die of The Month Club Kit entitled Cozy Toes Slippers which looks as though someone is wearing a pair of character slippers.  This kit comes complete with a santa, penguin, bunny, and reindeer characters to make several different types of slippers.  For this particular card, I decided to use the Santa to make a pair of slippers.

This is such a cute die set, I couldn't wait to create with it.  First I started with an A2 card base to which I added an olive green cardstock background.  I wanted a green that would go with the green in the pajama pants.  I used it as a mat by cutting it to 5.25 x 4 inches and attaching it centered on the  front of the card.

I then had some cute plaid paper that I used for the pajama bottoms.  The paper has some glitter in the red squares which made them look kind of Christmasy.  I the added the legs and created the slippers using the santa face.  I popped up the santa face so that the slippers appeared to be 3 dimensional.

Finally, I added the sentiment which also came with the kit by first cutting the flag with brushed gold cardstock and then cutting out the flag and words with white.  When glued together the gold lettering showed thru.  It was then popped up and centered across the center of the card.

I hope you like this card!  I had so much fun making it.  I know you would love to add this kit to your stash.  It will become available for either sale or subscription on October 6th, so be sure to mark your calendar! Day Two. Monthly Club Kits - Festive Lights

Today is October 2nd and that means another Spellbinders club kit feature.  Today I am using the Glimmer of the month club kit entitled Festive Lights.  This also comes with some Speckled Aura Foil.  I am sure you will love this kit as much as I do.  Be sure to check back tomorrow as I will be featuring another of Spellbinders Club Kits.  Here is my sample card

I started this card by glimmering the design onto some white card stock using the attached speckled aura foil.  This was then cut into an oval shape using the fluted classic ovals.  I then colored the lightbulbs using my copic markers.  This oval was then placed on a red cardstock oval cut using the Fluted Classic ovals again.

I cut some pretty gold striped paper 5.25 x 4 inches and then centered it on the front of a top folding A2 size card.  Then I cut a piece of green gingham paper 5.0 x 3.35 inches and centered it over the striped paper.  The ovals were then attached to the card front, centered, side to side and more to the top of the card.

The sentiment was glimmered from the same set using the enclosed speckled aura foil.  It was then cut out with the included die and attached to the bottom of the card.

If you like this kit, you can purchase it or subscribe to it monthly after October 6th.  You can see all the club kits that Spellbinders offer by clicking here.
