Valentine Candy Hearts Card!

 Today I am featuring a card from Spellbinder's new House Mouse Release.  I have chosen the candy hearts stamp which features an adorable house mouse along with many conversational candy hearts.  

I started off by stamping the image onto white cardstock and coloring with copic markers.  The image was then cut using the Essential Oval Dies.  Then I tried to match cardstock colors to the candy heart colors and cut small strips from each.  I arranged the strips in a woven design in the lower front left corner of the 5 x 7 card.   I then popped up the image using foam squares.  I added some flowers from the Petite Floral Potpourri set and added them to the lower left of the oval. Then I chose some matching enamel dots from my stash and added hem to the front of the oval and flower centers.  The sentiment was stamped in black ink.

Final Card for New Release - For You!

This is the last card I have to show regarding Spellbinder's new release.  This particular collection is called Merry and Bright.  I decided to do a very sparkly, shiny example for this collection.  To see the entire collection, simply  Click Here.

I loaded this card full of sparkly and shine  using both glitter paper and shiny foil paper.  I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card base and added a frame of metallic foil paper.  Then I found this pretty silver and white printed paper in my stash.  The design on this paper is also foiled.  I then cut out the bow from silver glitter paper and the stripes were cut from mirrored silver  paper.  The shadows inside the loops were done with gray cardstock.  The senter section and tips of the bow were popped up using foam squares. 

I then cut out some greenery and several flowers from the Petite Blooms and sentiment die set and arranged them along one side of the bow.  The tag was also cut from the same die set and attached as shown.  As a final embellishment, I added yellow enamel dots to the poinsettia flower centers and red jewels to the yellow flower center and the card base also as shown.  

I decided to use the bow as a bow tie, rather than a traditional bow.  I think this gave it a different look.  I hope you like this example.  I know parts of it are hard to see, but it was difficult to photograph.

Oh Holy Night Religious Nativity Scene Christmas Card

 Welcome back!  Today I created a card using the new Simon Hurley Snow Globe Collection from Spellbinders.  If you love snow globes you will love this collection. I didn't create a snow globe, but more of a scene on this card.  To view the entire collection please

To create this card, I started with a 5 x7 inch card base  in white.  I then took a piece of plain white cardstock and cut out an Essential Stylish Oval from the cener.  The cut out piece was then embossed using the Geo Quilt 3D embossing folder.  and popped up on the card front using foam squares.  The cutout shape I saved and used it to create the scene.

I inked the cutout using blue ink from my stash.  I then cut out, arranged, and glued down  the center scene. I then glued the whole scene piece into the center of the embossed piece.   After it was cut out and assembled, I popped up the sentiment using foam squares.  It was first cut out with dark blue cardstock and then overlayed with white so that the lettering would show thru.

Day Two of New Release - Have a Cool Yule Christmas Shaker Card.

 Today I am showing off another card from the Spellbinders new releases for October 2023.  This card features the Cool FransFormer Collection from Stampendous.

I started with an A2 card base and added a piece of lightly printed Christmas paper which I cut an oval in for the shaker window using the Essential Stylish ovals.  I then stamped the image from the Snowy Penguin FransFormer stamp set and colored them using my copic markers.  I cut them out and arranged them as seen in the photo.  I used a blue background paper and some white gliter paper for the snow.  I placed the larger penquin inside the shaker and added some clear gems and snowflake bits for the shaker elements.

The packages, Stocking, and smaller penquin were also colored and cut out.  I then arranged them on the front of the card.  I stamped the sentiment with black ink and glued it to the top of the card.

This collection fomes with penquins, snowmen, and birds which allow you to create many different cards!  To see the entire collection, just click here.

Release Day! New "GREETINGS" Card

 Hi!  Welcome Back!  Today is release day over at Spellbinders and I have several new releases to share with you.  The first collection I want to share with you is the Serenade of Autumn.  It is just in time for all your fun fall/autumn card making!  To check out all the new releases, simply click here.  To see all that is included in this Serenade of Autumn Collection, simply click here.  Here is my creation using only two items from this collection.  

To create this card, I started with an A2 white card base.  I found some pretty green paper and using the 3D embossing folder, embossed it and added it to the card front.  Then using the Sunflower Serenade die, I cut out three of the sunflowers and leaves and attached them to the front of the card on top of the embossed piece.  For the sentiment, I chose an older set, the Open House Boo die set.  It was cut from black cardstock and attached to the lower front bottom of the card.  As a final touch, I added some yellow enamel dots that I had in my stash to finish off this card.

Another Super Simple Quick and Easy Christmas Card

 Today I have another Quick and Easy Christmas card using the Make it Merry Limited Edition Card and Tag kit from Spellbinders.  This kit was released in July of 2023 and has everything you need to make a tone of Christmas and Holiday cards.

It's Christmas My Deer Christmas Card

 Here is yet another Christmas card that I created using the Make it Merry Limited Edition Card and Tag Kit from Spellbinders.  It contains everything you need to create both A2 and A7 cards!  Everything you could need is included in this kit.  

The only thing that wasn't included in this kit was the circle which I created using Spellbinders Fancy Edged Circle dies.  The background paper and all the ephemera, along with the sentiment all came with the kit.  The sentiment was popped up using foam squares. 

This made a great Christmas Card with a fun play on words.  I hope you enjoyed it and will consider creating one for yourself.  I know you won't be disappointed!  Please be sure and stop by tomorrow when I will have another fun project from this kit.

Two Quick and Easy Christmas Cards

 Today I am sharing with you two super quick and easy Christmas Cards that you can make and send out quickly!  They are both made using only elements from the Spellbinders Make it Merry Limited Edition Card and Tag Kit which was released in July of this year!

The first card started with an A2 card base to which I added a background from the printed paper.  I then cut a smaller rectangle from the same paper pack and centered it on the card.  I used the gold puffy sticker sentiments to place on the center rectangle and added the holly and bells from t he ephemera pack.  Everything was included in the kit!

  

The second card was created much the same way.  I started with an A2 card base and added a mat o f dark green cardstock.  Then I put a background piece from the printed cardstock on top.  I found this perfect printed sentiment and hollies among the included ephemera.  Then as the final touch I placed the included red gems on top of the berries from the holly for added dimension and bling. 

Both would make perfect masculine cards too.  They are two quick and easy cards for that last minute rush, or the one person you forgot on your list!  I hope you enjoyed these examples and that they will inspire you to give this kit a try.  You won't be disappointed!

Make it Merry Limited Edition Card Kit Day 2

This is the second of several days worth of projects I will be sharing from the new Make it Merry Card Kit which was released by Spellbinders in July of this year.  This kit is loaded with tons of goodies to make so many Christmas cards.  Today I have also used the Make it Merry Floral Dies and added them to the kit to create these two fabulous cards.

The first card I made was actually the second one in the photo.  I started with an A2 card base, added papers from the kit, cut out several of the floral elements from the die add on.  and used a chipboard sticker as the sentiment.  

 Since I had elements from the first card left over, I decided to create another card.  Again I used papers from the kit, two chipboard stickers and the Make it Merry Floral Die set.  I really love this set as it can be used with the kit or separately for all your Christmas floral needs.

Make it Merry Card Kit day 1

 This is day one of my projects from the Make it Merry Card Kit that was released by Spellbinders in July of 2023.  This is a super kit and will easily create all the Christmas cards you need.  Today I am sharing two gift tags I created using this kit along with the Create a Decorative Tag die (for the red one).  

For the first one I chose a card and ephemera from the kit to create it.  The snowglobe was popped up using foam squares and the sentiment also came from the included ephemera pack.  I also added some tinsel ribbon to the top of the tag in silver which I had in my stash.

For the second tag, I used the Create a Decorative Tag die and make a take from the red cardstock that was included in the kit.  The Merry and Bright were puffy stickers and the "&" was a chipboard sticker.  The stars were from the gold sticker sheet all of which was included in the kit.  I then added some red tinsel ribbon to the top of the tag for hanging, which came from my stash.

Another House Mouse New Release

 Welcome Back!  Today I am sharing another House Mouse card I made using one of the new stamps just released from Spellbinders.  It is called Bringing Christmas to You!  from the House Mouse Holiday collection.  You can view the entire collection here.

This card was super fun to make!  I Love to color, so this stamp was perfect for me.  I colored the snow and mouse using copic markers and for the ornament, I used Sakura glitter pens.    I wanted my ornament to be really sparkly.  The clouds were stenciled using Distress Ink in tumbled glass.  Both the white cardstock piece and the blue piece were die cut using the Postage Edge Rectangle die set.  The were then glued to an A2 card base and the sentiment was stamped using black ink.

New Release - House Mouse Holiday Collection

 Hello and welcome!  Today I will be featuring a card from the new House Mouse Holiday  Collection over at Spellbinders.  If you love House Mouse you are going to love this collection.  To view this collection simply click here.  There were so many collections released this month, this is just one of many!

I love to color, so I had great fun creating this card!  First I started with an A2 card base.  I then put a piece of green Christmas  paper as a mat onto the card.  I cut two ovals using the Fluted Classic Ovals.  One from red cardstock the other from white.  On the white one I stamped the image from the Merry and Bright stamp set onto the card with black ink and colored with copic parkers.  They were then glued to the front of the card as shown.  The sentiment also came from this set and was stamped on white cardstock, cut out and popped up using foam squares.
