I have made one for both a boy and a girl. I started with a whip cream card base and sponged the top two thirds of each card using Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass Ink. I then stamped the stork image onto a separate piece of whip cream cardstock using black licorice ink. They were then colored using my copic markers (colores used listed in the supplies). They were then die cut using the matching die. I also die cut a piece of bubblegum and pool play cardstocks using the shadow die and attached the stork to each.
Clouds and doily were also cut from whip cream cardstock. Using a piece of bubblegum and pool play cardstock I cut a piece of each measuring 4.25 x 2.5 and glued to the bottom of the card base. The doily was cut in half and glued so the bottom of the doily was 1/2 inch from the bottom of the base card. I then cut a coordinating piece of printed paper from my stash that measured 4.25 x 1" and glued it over the seam to hide the top of the doily and solid cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment on whip cream paper using black licorice ink and cut it into a rectangle shape. It was attached to the printed paper using foam squares.
Finally, I glued the clouds and stork onto the upper section of the card.
I think this stork set made for a really cute card. It was fun and easy to color too. Best of all, this stamp and die set is on clearance right now! Get yours before they are gone!
