CYCI Challenge # 150

This week's challenge is a color challenge using the colors, Navy, Copper, Mint, and White.  So I decided to search my stash and came up with this gorgeous rose stamp.  (I am sorry I do not know who makes it).  I colored it with prismacolor pencils.  I then took a navy base card and added a mint mat and then a smaller copper colored mat.  With the Valiant Honor Die from Spellbinders, I cut out the rose and mounted it on top of the copper paper so that it showed thru and looked like cording.  All and all I think it turned out pretty.

To see all the design team's submissions, please go to www.canyoucaseit.com.   To join in this challenge, please stop by our Can You Case It?  Challenge group page on Facebook and add your card to the challenge.  We love to see what you come up with.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week.

Can You Case It Challenge # 149

This weeks challenge over at Can You Case It?  is a sketch challenge.  I really love sketch challenges.  It gives me a great starting point for creating my cards.

This particular card was created using all Fun Stampers Journey products.  I think it turned out great and really worked well for the sketch challenge.  I got to do some coloring on this one, which I LOVE to do.  I think it always adds so much to a card.

The items used to create this card are as follows:
cardstock:  Butter Cream, Banana Cream, River Stone and the printed paper is from our Summer Romance paper pack.
Ink:  Black Licorice
Stamp:  Wedding Bliss
Coloring done with Color Burst Pencils
Sparkle Dots
Lemon Sparkle Tape.

All of these items can be found on my website www.funstampersjourney.com/jeannebobish

I hope you like this card and feel inspired to join our challenge.  It is so super easy.  Just create your card and post it to our new facebook page:   https://www.facebook.com/groups/cycichallengegroup/  and add your photo as a comment under the appropriate challenge post.

Thanks for stopping by!

Can You Case It Color Challenge #148

This week's challenge over at Can You Case It is a color challenge using the colors gray, turquoise, yellow and white.  I had a hard time coming up with something for this color scheme so headed to my stash to see what I could find.  Using the colored papers from the challenge, I then stamped this lovely floral stamp from Fun Stampers Journey onto the white oval paper using Pool Play ink which matched the paper I chose pretty closely.  I loved the cameo look that was created by placing the white oval on this spellbinder oval die.  I then added a matching satin ribbon bow and some sequins to finish it off.

I hope you like this card and that you will check out all the other wonderful design team cards.  Also, please take this opportunity to join us by taking the challenge and playing along.  You can post your creations on the FB Can You Case It? Challenge Group page.  We would love to see what you create!

Savvy 7 Blog Hop - March

This month's theme over at the Savvy 7 Blog Hop was "Lucky".  What better to match that theme than an adorable punch art leprechaun and all his lucky charms.  This card was created using all Fun Stampers Journey products except for the embossing folder used to create the background.

I hope you like this fun card  and will hop on over to all the other blogs and check out all the other wonderful creations.

Thanks for stopping by,
Jeanne
